I will say, this is the best place to order kimbab in Seattle area if you are craving it.Other spots like H-mart and whatnot also make their own en mass but these are made to order. My go to in the short rib kimbab. Decently priced and very good. If i have time before my flights, I would try and stop by here to get an order to go so I can eat it at the airport and not waste money on overpriced food. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area. It is tucked away in plaza corner where you can find Kochi Pocha, Arirang, Dawa and a few other places. 4/5

Walked in and we were instantly greeted with a smile and great customer service. The spot is open with decent seating and very clean. We ordered two varieties of kimbap and they were both made fresh. It was delicious and flavorful and satisfying. I only wish I was closer because there is so much more on the menu I want to try. We will definitely be back when I'm the area.

Checked this place out with a friend recently. Don't expect a particularly fancy ambiance - it's a pretty casual place. We ordered a number of things to share - a kimbap, rose tteokbokki, street toast, and a side of ginmari. All things were pretty good - the ginmari hit the spot perfectly. The street toast was delicious as well. The kimbap was solid - perhaps the slightest bit salty, but still good. While the rose tteokbokki was tasty, the texture was a little off for me. It was a bit sticky and I wish it was creamier. We ended up not eating much of it :( Overall, this was a good place but I did expect more out of the tteokbokki.

Tucked inside the plaza it can be hard to notice but this is such a nice spot for some Korean comfort food! They sell mainly tteokbokki and kimbap in different flavors. FOOD:We got the combo which was about $25 total. This was honestly a really good deal since it fed two people comfortably. The rose tteokbokki was creamy spicy and smoky which was such a delicious combo. The bacon bits really pulled it in together. The short rib Galbi kimbap was also very delicious. This was such good comfort food AMBIANCE:Pretty colorful on the inside with places to sit. We were the only ones there when we went. You bus your own tables. SERVICE:Quick and easy! You just order at the counter and find a spot to sit. Overall, I'd 100% come back again :) I really enjoyed the food here and I'm excited to try some of their other flavors.

I am a novice to Korean food. The ingredients are unfamiliar to me; kimchi, seaweed, odeng fish cake and Kimchi Jjigae (Spicy Kimchi Stew) I love seafood and vegetables, so open up my taste buds to trying new food. This restaurant has several kimbab options, a rice and seaweed roll. Started with the shrimp tempura and pork belly kimbab. Both came with a variety of vegetables, such as asparagus, carrots, pickled radish and eggs. Really nice starter. Next, the steak bowl and spam bowl. The steak bowl had a nice balance of flavors, " Bowl made up of our signature Kalbi(short rib), Korean-special sauce marinated egg, buttered corn, caramelized onion, kimchi, and rice. Finished with our house BMJ sauce and mayo." My friend loved his spam bowl, such creamy flavors with the spam. " Bowl made up of Spam, Korean special-sauce marinated egg, buttered corn, caramelized onion, kimchi, and rice. Finished with mayo sauce on top." For our drinks, we got the Korean pear juice. A real education to the delicious flavors of Korean food.

The food was super yummy and lots of meat in the kimbap. The delivery was super quick which we appreciate. Price was acceptable. I wished the tteobokki had other things like fish cake or egg but taste was still on point.

Cute little spot in the Korean plaza. We wanted woo young woo style kimbap and tried a majority of items on their menu. Cute how they serve in the street style plates. Their steak gimbap is best. Their street toast is delicious. The ambiance is very family friendly-- very bright and clean compared to the shops next door. I knock off 2 stars because the portions are small while the price is high. I understand that it's hard times right now, but as a Korean, knowing that traditional street food is very cheap in the mainland and inexpensive to make myself-- it's hard to convince myself I need to come back. Also the ambiance is cute but not the kind of vibe I would want to bring my friends if I wanted late night street food vibes-- there are 2 other tteokbokki places next door that are still up there. The service was very standoffish and didn't really care if we enjoyed our food so the overall experience was underwhelming. That being said, this place has potential. If there were more sides that made sense with eating with kimbap, then it can stand out. Like having a cup noodle bar or more customizations to the tteokbokki. Or having tteokbokki hot pot? Having more fried options like gimmari, fried squid, or an interesting idea like fried rice cake. There needs to be something that makes all the young kids say we need to go there because they have this experience that no other place has.Anyways, I wish this place luck and want it to succeed. It's really hard to compete with all the other Korean restaurants in that plaza so if you make some revisions it can be a hit matjib!

Delicious kimbap!! We have been here several times, and every time has been a great experience. The food is delicious. My favorites have been: 1) the shrimp tempura kimbap - I always get this. 2) pork belly kimbap 3) aglio e oili (garlic) tteokbokkiI love trying new items on their menu! The customer service is always excellent. There is plenty of parking in the plaza.

This is a cute little restaurant with a small bar and kpop music videos on the TV. It delivers quality Korean rice bowls and sandwiches at around $13. The toast was a bit too burnt for me. I'd ask for lightly toasted bread next time. There is plenty of parking during weekends though they do share the lot with a number of businesses on weekdays. Bapmukja offers friendly walk-up service with complimentary three temperature water dispenser next to the counter.
