Banh Mi Boba & Me

Banh Mi Boba & Me is a newly opened family-owned restaurant in Stoughton! I knew I just had to visit because I love supporting small local businesses, especially Vietnamese ones. Alongside a busy road, Banh Mi Boba & Me can be hard to miss, but there is a good amount of street parking in front of the store so it is quite convenient. It's a small cozy store with a decent amount of seating but gives off take-out vibes. I haven't tried their Banh Mi yet, but I got their mango fruit tea with crystal boba and it was tasty and refreshing. I got it not too sweet which was the perfect level of sweetness for me. Their Banh Mi looks really good and I am looking forward to trying it soon. Just an FYI when ordering, the menu prices are the CASH prices. When you pay with a card, there is a 3.5% surcharge due to the processing fees, so definitely pay with CASH!The owner (Amanda) was very friendly and took the time to address customer feedback which I appreciated. I mentioned to her that it would be useful to make a little sign that said menu prices reflect paying with cash or to put prices with the 3.5% surcharge and say there is a discount when paying with cash. She said they are working on it to avoid future customer confusion. I also think it'd be cool if they did a drink + banh mi combo option.Looking forward to coming back to try their banh mi soon!

Takeout only, which is fine. Definitely a locals only place with a faithful client base. It is fast, efficient, and reasonably priced. Best thing ever: cold shrimp rolls. So good. And so reasonably priced. Peanut sauce is ok, not great. Not a fan of: Tofu bahn mi sandwich. Having said that, my daughter loves this and gets it often. The bread it comes on is yummy. Fan of: veggie egg rolls (or fried spring rolls?) classic and kind of oily, but once I padded them with a napkin they were very crispy and fresh. I'd get takeout there again, it was good.

A small shop located on a busy street, Banh Mi Boba & Me is not to be missed! PARKING: Street parking only but plenty of them around the area. INTERIOR: Very small with about 4-5 tables. It seems more like a grab and go place. MENU: There are a few apps, banh mi options, pho, and drinks! There's a bit of everything. FOOD: I recommend the spring rolls! It was a stuffed and perfectly fried. I ordered the cold cut banh mi and it was quite stuffed which I appreciated. The bread was perfect - not too dry. I didn't get to try the drinks but their Vietnamese coffee looks so good!

I cannot say enough good things about Stoughton's newest restaurant, and a welcomed one. We don't have too many Vietnamese options around these parts, and I've found myself often to venture out to Quincy or Randolph when jonesing for some pho so I'm very excited to welcome this shop.It's clean, it's bright, and a breath of fresh air. They did a killer job with the layout and there's a decent amount of seating at the counter and tables. Their menu has all kinds of awesome appetizers, some pho options, and plenty of drinks, both smoothies and teas.I proceed to order some fresh beef spring rolls which were awesome and came with a delicious dipping sauce. Two rolls in the order. It's not on their menu but I'm glad they suggested it when I was talking to them about my order.I also proceeded to order their classic cold cut banh mi sandwhich ($8.99) which was very traditional. The baguette was slightly dry (which is what you want) and the pate and cold cuts were very well distributed and everything tasted fresh. The chili in there were perfect and not overwhelming. It was the best banh mi sandwich I've had in years and lightyears better than any I've had in the area by a mile.To cap my order off, I also went with a Taro and Coconut smoothie with 2 types of boba and they asked me how sweet I wanted it which was awesome because I didn't want it too sweet and it was absolute perfection. I might go back and get another tomorrow.The staff is friendly and the food excellent. Don't hesitate to come here, you won't regret it.

Banh Mi Boba & Me is a small shop serving up a variety of bubble tea milk drinks, fruit teas, smoothies, slushes, lattes. Vietnamese coffee, banh mi sandwiches, spring rolls. and pho soups at fair prices. The place is geared towards takeout which is order at the counter and there are no tables here other than a standing table by the front window. I stopped by here while I was in Stoughton. I ordered a Banh Me BBQ Chicken ($8.99 plus tax) which was made to order in the back kitchen and ready within 5 minutes. Served on a crusty firm sub roll, the banh me had tender pieces of sweet BBQ chicken, cilantro, cucumber slices, shredded pickled carrots, daikon, and red chiles. I really enjoyed this sandwich which had sweet, savory, and very spicy flavors. I will probably get a Banh Mi Classic Cold Cuts and a Taro Bubble Tea on the next stop in here.

Edited 8-8-24:Since my original review the business did reach out to me clarified that:1. Whenever you pay by credit card , it is 3.5% different than when you paid cash (This should be posted somewhere and be more clear, had I known I would have just paid in cash)2. The price on the menu board is the cash price (Same comment above)3. Used to have the coffee in the small cup , but we don't carry small cup anymore and the coffee that you got was a large cup (This should be reflected on the menu board)Overall I do appreciate the business reaching out and clarifying my concerns so I bumped it back up a star. I like how they take the time to address the feedback and hopefully the updates will be more visible to avoid confusion for customers. Original Review:Was excited to see a Vietnamese spot around the area. Banh mi was fine I got the cold cut but meat was on the lighter side and it was mostly bread. Ice coffee was good. It looks nice inside. Staff seem friendly but just be careful when paying with card. They appeared to automatically build in the tip. Cold cut is 8.99+4.50 for ice coffee = 13.49 after tax it should have been 14.43. I was charged 17.17 which is roughly 16% built in on top of tax that I wasn't aware of. They also did not give me a receipt. So at the end of the day I was charged an extra $2.74. Not the end of the world but just slightly deceiving and I don't like the lack of transparency. It is the principles! I did not get the opportunity to select tip amount on the machine. She just told me 17 and I gave her my card without thinking much about it. Maybe it was an oversight but now I walked away feeling ripped off instead of being excited for this new place.

This small, local restaurant serves authentic vietnamese food! The banh mi is delicious and large. I normally go for the beef banh mi. There are also many milk and fruit tea options. If you don't want tea, you can go for smoothies or vietnamese coffee. The owner is extremely friendly and open to feedback. I was asked to let her know next time what my thoughts were on the vietnamese coffee and if I wanted it to be sweeter.

I ordered the vegetarian Banh Mi (sandwich). It was really good. The bread was a nice crusty french loaf. The filling was some kind of fake meat. The wait staff were pleasent. At lunch time there was amble seating inside. I would recomend for vegetarians (there's a sandwich and a pho option).

Amazing sandwiches, amazing people, great vibe. I eat here once a week its so good. Best sandwich in Stoughton, and best Banh Mi in the area.
