I've been going here since I was a kid! Still tastes delicious but it's definitely just gotten more expensive. The bread is also thinner now and they give less meat. They also sell the ingredients separately and other Vietnamese foods and snacks too. The store is like a little convenience store and the people are very helpful.

Cheap and so tasty. I always go to Ba Le when in Dorchester but this location had all my go-tos and was just as satisfying. I leave with a heavy bag stuffed with goodies for the next few days for $27-35. The line doesn't take too long. Tons of options to explore. The reasons I don't do much are 1) I love my go-tos. 2) lack of English signs (or any signage; though they've recently added some which is helpful. I wish they'd label everything). I always get a Banh mi sandwich. I've tried several meats and most like the chicken and bbq pork. My other go-tos are:- (dark colored) bbq pork (fresh vermicelli wrap) spring rolls, though I've also enjoyed the mixed with 1 pork, 1 shrimp, and 1 with a spam-like slice- pork floss buns: I've seen as many as 4 types. I just discovered the one with shredded seaweed as mochi inside! It's a bigger, flatter version of the pair of rounds that I always get at Taiwan Bakery - all the other baked goods I've had were delicious; they seem to rotate the offeringsThere are a variety of other goodies in front of the glass along the whole line. These are not very well organized and very few are labeled. I would definitely try more of these if I knew what was in it.

Affordable and tasty meal. Ba Le is inside the 99 supermarket so it is more of a take out joint. There are chairs and tables if you would like to dine in but it's dim and sad looking. Ordering was a a bit of a challenge if you don't speak Vietnamese. Banh mi was simple, i pointed to the server for the meat/topping options. I saw fresh flat noodles and wanted to order but not sure how to (do I mix with meat, veggies or order as is? Later I found out the entree is called "banh cuon"). Luckily another staff who speaks English returned from break so I was able to put that order in. She first packed the noodles, then spam like pork meat, bean sprouts and a spring roll. A friend later told me that you can pick shrimp instead of pork. I always wanted to buy the pandan coconut jelly dessert but it's very hard to find fresh ones. Happy to find them here! Are you crazy for fresh squeezed sugar cane? They have a machine and you can see them juice in front of you! Please note that they do mix with kumquat (also my fav go to drink). The mix is great but next time I would ask for straight up sugar cane. They also have a lot of prepared food for quick grabs (papaya salad, bún thịt nướng, apps and treats)It would be nice if Ba Le list the prices for the goodies they sell. The board only listed prices for drinks, banh mi and a few prepared meals. I also found out that they serve pho and congee too! They will get more business if they list everything they sell. Would definitely go back to try other items.Their Dorchester location is bigger and has bakery section.

My go-to Friday lunch spot and the most delicious Vietnamese food I've had in Boston! So glad I've discovered this hidden gem per recommendation from a friend. The menu is quite expansive with lots of options depending on what you're in the mood for - I usually order either a Banh Mi Dac Biet or Banh Mi BBQ Pork with an order Banh Bot Loc (tapioca dumplings). The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and there are tables inside to eat at once you've picked up your food.

Ba Le serves the most delicious Vietnamese food and I'm so happy they have another location. There's a number of tables to eat at, and the lines move fast. You order drinks and food at separate lines, and their bahn mi is made fresh.Would definitely come back!

I'm glad they opened up a closer location to me because I love Banh Mi Ba Le. It's smaller than their Dorchester location, however they still have banh mi, and a good amount of other Vietnamese food. Banh mi is $6-7 and I always get a few whenever I come. My favorite is the thịt nướng (#2). I also got xôi (Vietnamese sticky rice) which was good. The workers are fast at making the banh mi too. A great cheap meal option!Still my favorite banh mi location that I've ever had. It's located inside 99 Asian Market's food court and there's plenty of parking in the plaza.

Haven't been to them since they changed to this location but I was happy to find them again. Their fans have also followed as there was a long line on a Tuesday around 12. We got to try their traditional and BBQ pork banh mi sandwiches and a combination order of spring rolls. I almost think the sandwiches are slightly larger than they were before and prices were very good coming out to less than $20 in total. Quality was consistent so I will certainly be coming back for more! My favorite spring roll was definitely the one with the sweet pork so get that if you can.

Smaller selection than the location in Dorchester but does have all the greatest hits. Banh mi sandwiches, drinks, prepared vermicelli bowls, summer rolls, egg rolls, tofu stir fry noodles etc. wish they offered the rice plates but still a good selection. Line wasn't too long on a Sunday afternoon, we were in and out under 10 minutes. I got a couple packages of the summer rolls and felt it wasn't as fresh as the location in Dorchester. They leave it out for you to grab. The wrapping on the summer rolls were a little dry. We also got the tofu noodles and a couple coffee smoothies. Relatively inexpensive. Would stop in if I'm in the area but wouldn't make the trip otherwise.

Ba le is a franchise Vietnamese bánh mì shop. I am glad that they open a new location near my place. This location located inside 99 ranch market's food court. Usually, ppl buy foods here to go. But you can seat at the food court if want. There is no servers, self serve service. They offer authentic Vietnamese bánh mì and other việt dishes. The quality of bánh mì in ba Le always consistent and their pate tasted amazing However, avocado smoothie here is sadly a no. Very bitter and too sweet at the same time. I think the one in Dorchester location is better.
