Bangers & Lace Wicker Park

This place has a cool and casual vibe, a great beer and cocktail selection, and amazing cheese curds! I came here on a Saturday evening around 6pm and it was populated but not too crowded. My partner and I snagged a seat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and friendly!I love the variety of their beer selection. Very unique and lots of options on tap. I got the Middlebrow Public Beer (Nitro), and wow I loved the foamy head as it was so creamy and aromatic. And the beer itself was super enjoyable for a chilly night. Very drinkable, as described! I also tried some more beer and got some cheese curds with the giardiniera ranch. And wow I definitely recommend the cheese curds!! The ranch has a wonderful kick to it and the curds are perfectly bite sized and crispy. Great for sharing between 2 people.

My go to neighborhood bar! So many delicious beers and rotating cocktails to choose from! Fun atmosphere, nice staff, great food (say yes to cheese curds!), has pool table, patio in summer, fireplace for winter, with plenty of bar seating! Bartender Steve is awesome! Whatever he suggests you won't go wrong! They have delicious mocktails too so you can have fun and enjoy even when not wanting alcohol at times! One of the places where I really struggle with choosing beer or cocktail because they both great choices here! They also sell a hoodie which is so warm and comfy!!! Open late!

It was a great little happy hour spot where we enjoyed some food and beverage. The server was so delightful and the service was very quick. It was a great place to sit and enjoy a nice sunny Chicago day.

Really cool spot to get some drinks and snacks! We went on a weekend and it was populated but not too packed. Plenty of seating at the bar or tables. The seats in the back feel a bit more intimate and there's a pool table there too. They have a whole cooler of Miller high life if that's your thing as well as a selection of hot dogs/sausages. The cheese curds with giardiniera ranch were really good. I enjoyed the Wild Mohave cocktail on draft, made with mezcal and mango. The draft beer selection is vast, and some of them are real strong too with upwards of 10% abv. I tried the Early Leaf which was an IPA with 8.4% abv. I liked the music selection they played, it was a mix of hip hop/rap and other songs with decent bass coming from their speakers.

My gf and I came here after a long Thursday with no expectations and we should have not doubted this pub. Their Seattle hot dog was a banger for sure! We have never visited Seattle but appreciated the Korean twist. The kimchi and crunchy chili oil not only added some heat and crunch factor but it rounded out the flavors so well. This place actually inspired my gf to make home made crunchy chili oil and we've been loving it.

I went to Bangers & Lace this past Tuesday to try out the burger that's on the Happy Hour menu, and let me tell you that this one blew me away. I was not expecting it to be as good as it was. It was juicy and had so much flavor. Just a well-balanced burger. It was a little bit bigger than a slider but for $10, I'm not complaining. The service was excellent and the bartender was very attentive. Old Fashioneds are my go-to cocktail and the ones she was making were great. This bar has one of the best Happy Hour deals that I've come across - can't recommend this place enough!

I've only just moved to Chicago, but thus far, their hot dogs are the BEST hot dogs I've had. I actually went three days in a row after the first time I had one because I couldn't stop. Their chocolate chip cookie is also magic with a rich flavor cut by sea salt!

I really liked this place when I stopped in the other weekend. A beer fridge full of Miller Highlife and a good assortment of craft beer (and cocktails) on tap. One of the specials was a bottle of Highlife and a shot of whiskey (Evan Williams). Good vibe and friendly staff. Would recommend and return to this place again!

I love this bar. Great beer selection, awesome cocktails. Bartenders and servers are friendly and helpful with drink choice suggestions - especially if the keg for a beer you want tapped out. The patio is nice and there's a pool table in the back!

I lived in the neighborhood for a while and have enjoyed this establishment for their French 75s. Truthfully, my fiancé enjoys going here. However, today was likely the last straw. I experienced first hand prejudice. And I know this gets thrown a lot, but after speaking to the door person, they said we would have the next table - but decided to give it to a group of other individuals that walked in. I asked the door person, who I just spoke to about it and they did not have an excuse as to why this group was sat before us. When I asked their name, they said Debra (not for me to say but they presented as a man, in the photo below) in a condescending manner. Such an awful experience- will never go back.
