Banana Leaf Thai Sushi Restaurant and Bar

Food and service were excellent! Red ocean was delicious and Up2u sushi roll also delicious! We shared some apps with our group of 12 and all delicious! Did learn if you want it spicy spicy you need to ask for Chef Spicy! I wish they were playing a more upbeat music to liven up the atmosphere on a Friday night.

My friends and I ordered Chicken satay, keow wan, Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) and Prik Khing to go and split between 3 people. Everything was well packaged and separated. I really liked the tangy sauce with the chicken satay as well as the traditional peanut sauce on the side. The keow wan was a very thin curry but tasted creamy and smooth. Drunken noodles were savory but I do prefer more of a saucy version personally. It was my first time trying Prik Khing and it was spicy, well fried tofu with lots of veggies like more peppers and string beans. Overall, I really liked their food. Although a bit pricey, we were beyond full by the end of our meal. I will definitely be trying more from their menu in the future!

This place has very nice nature based decor and good music. We sat outdoors, and the servers and bartender are all very courteous and friendly. My fiancée got the Pad See Ew which was well spiced and delicious, but the Fish With Three Flavors, which I got, was absolutely the phenomenonal! The crisp that they had on the fish was pretty amazing, I like the spice, although there were chunks of pepper that if you want real spice those will light you up. The plating and presentation for beautiful and it was a really great place to enjoy a meal with my fiance for a date night.

Solid 3.5 close to 4. Finding Thai places that do curry dishes without fish sauce can be tricky, but Banana Leaf offers several vegetarian and vegan options on their menu. We started with the roti and green dipping sauce and vegetarian gyoza for starters. The roti was buttery soft and flaky served with a generous portion of the savory dipping sauce. Green curry was on par with other good restaurants that make green veggie curry. Flavorful infusion of kaffir, basil, lemongrass and chili in a smooth coconut gravy. Atmosphere is medium to casual. Service was fine too. Can't complain. Overall good experience.

Great food and excellent service! I came in with a party of 16 and they happily accomodated us and our split check preference, despite a sign saying that they can only do max 5 split checks per party. They prepared our table with waters already set and were attentive throughout our meal. The food is a bit pricey but they are larger portions - it tastes really good though! Best Panang curry I've had in ATL so far. Perfect level of spice, excellent flavor, and has a great amount of the protein of your choice. As a heads up, there is an auto gratuity of 21% for large parties (I believe they consider any party larger than 5 a large party). It's a bit steep but the service doesn't slack.

I loved this restaurant. When entering the restaurant, the environment was beautifully decorated and can be a special occasion spot, such as a date or a celebration. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. He took our drink orders, and they came out quick. My friends had ordered a coconut Mojito, which was a bit on a sweet side, and champagne, which was delicious.The food is very vegetarian and vegan friendly, and I ended up ordering Basil Fried Rice. You can ask for different spice levels and was informed there is also chef spicy which is spicier than Thai spicy. I ended up ordering that level and was still able to handle the spicy level. My friends ordered drunken noodles, Satay, Spring Rolls and Gyoza which were very tasty. I would love to come back here on a special occasion.

Had a really good time at this place. The atmosphere was inviting and they seem to take special care of those with gluten sensitivities and other food allergies. The staff were well-informed about the ingredients in their dishes, which was quite reassuring.I decided to try the green curry with a mild spice level and it didn't disappoint. The dish had a nice blend of fresh green chili peppers in a flavorful coconut broth. I wrapped up my meal with the mango sticky rice dessert, which was quite tasty. Also, it's worth noting that they offer vegetarian options, expanding the choices for people with different dietary preferences. Would recommend for a nice meal out, especially a dinner date.

Wow wow wow came across this restaurant and it blew me away. The food was so good and autentic! We had 3 different curries and noodles, dumbling, spring rolls. My kids loved it as well. This is my new favorite place. Amazing sooo good cant wait to go back!!

We tried this restaurant based on the reviews but I will be honest, it was not that great. The food was inconsistent. The sushi had little taste. The cooked food was okay but not memorable. I get tired of paying a lot for okay food. I just want good food prepared well and priced fair. This food was underwhelming and priced high. We won't be back.

The flavor of the food was bland for me. I should have tried another dish. They also charged $3 extra for a side of rice to go but when we ordered, they started us off with a very small portion of rice.
