Bamboo Garden Teriyaki

2.5 stars. Was looking for a new teriyaki spot since Normandy Teriyaki (formerly Ichi) has changed owners/quality several times the past few years and is no longer the same. Saw the raving reviews of Bamboo and decided to give it a try. Ordered the Spicy chicken Teriyaki, was only ok. Previous reviews mentioned the portions were large and the quality was great, my experience was not so. There was 80% rice and 20% teriyaki. The taste was only ok and there were only two strands of green onions in the entire dish with one piece of small broccoli. And on top of that, the prices were ridiculous. I get it, times are tough and everything is costing more. But $16.50 just for ONE entree is absurd. They also have a sign that mentions they charge 50 cents for every to-go box on orders. Will continue to find a new teriyaki spot.

I only have good things to say about Bamboo Garden. The food is delicious, the quantities are substantial, very fair pricing, and the owners are genuinely good people!

In a pinch, looking to satisfy a sushi craving, I rolled past this place. Went inside, looked decent enough. When I went to the counter to order, I was told that unfortunately their sushi chef was out for the day, so strike one, no sushi available.Being as hungry as I was and needing to get back to work, I opted for the General Tsao Chicken. Placed my order and sat down at an empty table. Walking to my table, I saw another table that had a "Free Egg Soup" sign on it. Of course I helped myself to a bowl. It wasn't bad, although it tasted more like a chicken noodle soup with egg added to it.My food arrived piping hot, just the way I like it. Unfortunately, there was very little "General Tsao" sauce and crisp to it. The chicken was so over cooked, it was barely palatable and literally made me think twice as to whether or not it was truly chicken. Strike two! The salad dressing was good, but the iceberg lettuce pieces were so big I had to cut them with a knife. But that rice! The rice was excellent! Really the feature part of the meal, sad to say. I was so hungry I ate all my rice!After a couple of bites of the chicken, I asked for Sriracha sauce. Being a connoisseur of that delicious condiment, imagine my shock when the bottle I got resembled the color of ketchup rather than the deep, bold, orange I am used to. I squirted a very small portion on one tiny piece of chicken, and yes, it seems someone tried to make their sauce go just a tad too far! The wear and tear marks on the bottle were also a dead giveaway. I have never seen an authentic bottle lose their logo from "over use". A very, very disappointing strike three!I gave this place a 2 rating because the young lady who took my order was very nice and attentive. Unfortunately, being nice and attentive does not make one want to return.

Huge portions. The teriyaki chicken here is some of the best around and they give you lots of it. The wok dishes are ok but the Teriyaki is what truly shines here. The egg rolls and gyoza are great as well. Order ahead to avoid the wait.

It looks kinda divey at first but the food was really good. I got spicy chicken teriyaki and it had great flavor and came with a big portion. They also have an "excellent" food safety rating which was reassuring!

A local gem. Don't expect fancy. Expect delicious. We go here often and are never disappointed. The folks that run it are always hospitable, the servings are gigantic, the prices reasonable, and the taste amazing. Try the beef teriyaki - it's amazing!

Definitely a hidden gem of a restaurant. Food arrived working 15 minutes and tasted amazing. Will definitely come again

The inside of the restaurant was cluttered not inviting . Very dissatisfied And very disappointed.The taste was ok at best Will continue to find a new place .My salad was packed in a plastic bag.

Best service your able to get orders within 15 mins the hours are 11:00am to 8:30pm the chicken is so soft gives u a lot of rice with your food 10/10

Amazing customer service & the food is great too! The couple that owns the place is the sweetest too. Definitely will be back!
