It's very easy to order coffee from the website, and my coffee was at my door the next morning! There's a small delivery charge, but to me, it's worth it. Why is it worth it? The majority of their coffees are organic, and small-batch roasted. They're sold as actual pounds 16 oz, rather than 12 oz at the grocery store. I've been enjoying their coffee since 2016. My favorite so far is Rock Creek Reserve, which I purchased at the Olney Farmers Market (recommended by the seller after discussing what I like and don't like). It's indescribably good, so smooth, and full-bodied. Next on my list is Charm City Blend, which I wanted to try solely on the name, since I was born and raised in Baltimore. Right now, I'm really enjoying Royal Blue Blend and it's so delicious and aromatic. Next will be Bird City Blend for obvious reasons. I've never been disappointed!

Zeke's Roastery on Montebello Terrace is easily one of the most delicious-smelling businesses in all of Bmore. A great band of folks work tirelessly to keep the Baltimore metro area properly caffeinated. Perfect roasts and delicious blends! My favorite is the Royal Blue. It's a dark roast named for a luxury train that used to run out of Baltimore.

I've decided to review Zeke's Roastery rather than the places that serve it. Coffee from beans roasted at Zeke's is exceptional and is available at numerous locations. Check out their website for a list. I enjoy Zeke's coffee at the Crema Coffee cart at the University of Maryland, which is very convenient. There is something to be said about locally roasted coffee. It is so much more flavorful, probably due to the shorter transit time between roasting and preparation at home. There are numerous blends from which to choose and there is a description of what type of beans are used, how they are roasted, and what the roasting does to create the coffee's flavor. Drink and learn at the same time. I must make a trip to the roastery and update my review accordingly.

Pretty much the only place I know of that sells green coffee beans in Baltimore. $7.50 a pound. The staff is very helpful and they have a great selection of high quality coffee.Just go in the metal door with the sign on it (the sign that points to a different door). It's a little warehouse, but just find one of the workers and they'll help you out.

Wow, this is a gem in Baltimore! We have been drinking Zeke's organic "Hippie Blend" since we moved here and let me tell you we are VERY picky about our coffee, having been buying it from Los Angeles' Groundwork Coffee for the past 5 years even though we lived far from there. But then we found that Zeke's Hippie Blend is even better and we don't have to pay shipping. It's also reasonably priced, given its quality. We buy it at our local Eddie's Market.2011 update: the price at Eddie's Market, and seemingly everywhere, is going up a lot... now $13.99/lb for Hippie Blend. This is unfortunate; might have to look elsewhere again for increased value, despite the coffee seeming to be the same high-quality taste.

Zeke's coffee is hands down 5 stars. We absolutely love it and until we found a spot out in the burbs that sells it, we were trekking back into the city every month to buy more. We had never been to Zeke's cafe before, never had a reason to make it up that far north in the city, but put it on the Yelp bucket list and made a special trip. That being said if you don't live nearby it isn't really worth a special trip because there are tons of other places that serve and sell the coffee. It's a cute space: big store front windows, tin ceiling, spacious and bright. It's a simple menu. I had a really great powerhouse sandwich with old bay hummus. They also have build your own and breakfast sandwiches. The best part is you're guaranteed to get great coffee (oh and a free bumper sticker).

Purchase excellent coffee (beans and grounds) on wire racks ~10 feet from where it was roasted. They have a large variety and some really friendly folks to help you sort through it. You can also pick up a variety of coffee accessories (i.e. french presses, thermoses, burlap sacks).

I believe... Zeke's Roastery produces the best coffee beans in the Baltimore area. As such, obviously, their coffee is equally fantastic.
