Yummy Seafood

Went there for lunch today because I wanted some fish. Ordered the seafood platter with potato wedges and hush puppies accompanied with tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. The 3 pieces of whiting were big and seasoned well. The shrimp was OK seasoned, and the wedges were OK as well. The hush puppies were not as crispy as I would like, but they were still good. The sauces that came with it were underwhelming. And potato salad was mid. The customer service was on point very nice guy.

Seafood always great! I also love the fried fish sandwich! And when crawfish in season the are fresh!!!

I came here of a FB post. I love crabs so I decided to give them a try. Ummm the crabs were OK. I didnt find them off the hook or bland...just ok.Staff was friendly but could use a little improvement in up front customer service skills...but overal..give them a try

I was driving past this place and decided to drop by. The owner happened to be there and he told me that he had recently bought this and is under new ownership. He said he's a crabs and seafood supplier for many restaurants in the DMV area so he gets the freshest seafood. I decided to give the crabs a try. I ordered to go and brought back home to my husband. We both loved it and will be coming back again!!!

I love the crabs this place, jumbo size and fresh steamed. I live in Rockville, not close, but worth the drive.

saw a bunch of people out front, wanted to check out what the buzz was about. it's a no frills seafood spot. decided to have the shrimp and the fried croaker. both were really fresh. they give you a generous portion. the shrimp was tender and not overly seasoned and had a good crunch, which i enjoyed. comes with a small cole slaw. the bf opted for the croaker. super crispy as well. we ordered a burger for the road cuz we saw someone eating it and it looked really good. it was a solid cheeseburger. juicy, meaty, cheesy, not dry not overcooked. i appreciated that. just be sure to request ketchup packets. hit the spot even tho this is a seafood place. will return and try the crabs.

Loved the service. Everyone working there was pleasant. Prices aren't too bad at all. The food was seasoned pretty well but cooked way too long and was tough to chew. I got fried fish and shrimp and both were overcooked. Definitely needed to be taken out about 3-5 mins earlier and then it would have been perfect. I will try this place again bc maybe they were having a bad day.

Came back for another wonderful dinner from This Is Seafood. This time, because I am seriously working on losing my COVID weight I only had a small order of Fresh Fried flounder. It was delicious!! I had it with a fruit and salads from home to round out the meal. I love this place and will be coming back for more.
