This sushi restaurant is the absolute best sushi restaurant in Howard County. You have to try the seared salmon belly. It's one of the most delectable delights that you can experience, absolutely satisfying to the palate. If you're dining with friends, you have to try the sushi boat. My wife is not a sushi girl, but she loves the Baltimore roll, the seared salmon and the hibachi meals. The staff, management and owner's service and attention to detail is impeccable! Yama is a casual atmosphere, but it's an amazing experience if you're in the mood for Sushi. You will definitely come back!!!

The first time I came here I was so amazed by the staff service, everyone was so attentive! We sat at the bar and it was super comfortable. Drinks where great Food was made with love I almost cried when I tried the fried cheesecake.

I LOVE THIS SUSHI PLACE!!! Omg! You have to come here, ask for Tina, she's the owner and she is so lovely and sweet to talk to! She treats my friend and I like family! The facility is very intimate and warming. Also the decor is beautiful! It's a small spot so you're never overlooked.The sushi is so yummy! Such a huge menu selection. I got the Baltimore roll, salmon belly sushi and another roll that was recommended to me by the server and some crab balls. We also had a plum wine that was so delicious, I believe it's called UME wine. Everything was exceptional and I HIGHLY recommend this facility a lot.

My server was really nice and kind. She was very attentive. Overall Food was good. But Sushi rice needs some improvement. It wasn't cooked well. If I compare with other sushi place in Columbia like sushi Sono, Sono is a little bit better than here IMO. This place is the closest location so I went. I will try again later if rice is better next time. Tempura needs some improvement too. It should be crispier.

Some of the best sushi I have had. The people are nice, service is great and the place has nice ambience.Love going there for business meetings. It's not noisy like many restaurants during lunch. Perfect place for business meetings. Food is excellent.

Found another favorite sushi restaurant in the Ellicott City area. Clean and inviting atmosphere. Friendly and considerate customer service. Quality Sushi and sashimi. Seafood is very fresh and came with beautiful plating. Delicious beef and chicken hibachi and bento came in decent portion. Convenient location with ample parking out front. I went here for a Valentine's Day dinner and was pleased with my experience even though we came pretty late in the night. I've never been here before but decided to try it out. The restaurant is cozy feeling and was perfect for our date night. Even though it was super busy with dine-in and takeout orders, the staff did a great job making everyone feel appreciated. The food itself was delicious, we ate our meal in less than ten minutes! Definitely a place I would love to visit again :)
