Everything was delicious, wholesome and fresh! Prices are very reasonable and the service is casual and kind. Menu changes daily and items may sell out. Just wish they had longer hours. :-)

Great place to go for Sunday Brunch. Weekday Meditation nights, soup and serenity are wonderful as well. Healthy and delicious food served here. It is a small cafe and runs only certain hours but the food never disappoints!

This is probably the best vegan food around. A Buddhist temple with a cafe inside. I just had vegan pasta - it had a creamy base to it made of cashews. Yum!

So, the food here is always amazingly well done. If your tired of vegetarian options at other restaurants, you need to check this place out. You get a huge amount of food for $6, and it is always something different and delicious. If you get there before lunch you can enjoy a guided meditation, which is really the best way to take a lunch break. I bring dessert back to my office, and they never know its vegan.

On a whim, my home girl and I decided to check out World Cafe. It turns out that we had one of our most interesting experiences this entire summer. The cafe is only open for one hour certain weekdays (longer on weekends), so we hightailed it there one Thursday afternoon to check out their vegan/ vegetarian options before the cafe closed. That day, they offered a choice of two sandwiches with a small salad and tomato soup. My friend ordered grilled cheese, and I opted for the hummus sandwich. The sandwiches and salad were simple and tasty, and the soup was deelish - fresh, light and flavorful. After lunch, my infinitely curious friend checked out a lot of the books available for sale in the book store. Lots of readings on the Bhuddist religion are available for those folks on the path to enlightenment. We even had an opportunity to go upstairs to the temple to look around. I am always impressed with the cool diversity that you can find right here in Baltimore. I would definitely go back

The World Peace Cafe is under new management and I've had two really great meals here since they reopened in early June. A lentil and spinach soup finished with lemon that was served with good bread and a salad of mixed greens, strawberries, feta, pecans, and a goddess dressing. A week later, I tried a platter of dressed greens topped with rosettes of hummus, sliced naan, edamame, roasted vegetables, cashews, and a deviled egg. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. Desserts have been excellent so far--a variety of homemade cookies and an incredible iced banana persimmon bundt cake. Don't miss this place. Price to quality ratio, it's one of the best deals in Baltimore. They have very limited hours, so check out their website to be sure they're open and what's being served on that day: https://meditationinmaryland.org/cafe-hours-location/

This place showed me how delicious vegetarian and vegan food can be! The desserts are amazing, and the prices pretty cheap. The ambiance is wonderful, warm and calm. A must when I am in Baltimore.
