Windsor Inn Crab House

Me and my mother patronized the Windsor yesterday for a drink and some apps after being out all day shopping. The Pros, nice venue since they renovated, they added an enclosed smoking area outside. They combined the old family dining section with the bar to make it more opened. The drinks although small and in clear plastic cups, will creep on you. We ordered mozzarella sticks (awesome cheese pull) amd southwest egg rolls, both were light, non-greasy, and tasty. They shrunk their menu from a brochure to a 2- sided menu.The Cons, we went on a Saturday around 3p, the bar was full but overall the restaurant wasn't full full. With that being said it took about 10-15 minutes for our drinks, which is really bad for day service, I can't imagine how service is during the evening. The music is super loud, feels like you're in a club, which makes it hard for you to have a conversation with someone, but if you like that you're good.

My son and I stopped in around 2pm during brunch. We ordered a few items from the 11-3 menu. Our food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Our server wasn't super knowledgeable but he was funny and still able to help. It was a bar scene but day time so the ambiance was nice with r and b playing low in the background. Unfortunately,I'm fairly sure I was overcharged and probably won't stop in again anytime in the near future.

Service was terrible. I waited 30 mins for my drinks. The waitress cashed me out and no one ever came back to check on me. I asked another waiter to get my waitress who I thought was leaving but to find out she went to another section. Mo one never came, so I moved to the bar. Took 20 mins for someone to come over. I put an order in received my drink and it was over an hour and o still did not receive my food or my second drink. They either need more help or better bartenders and waitresses. I'm beyond frustrated and pissed

I wanted a Chicken Chesapeake so my friend told me to try it from here because she said, it was good. I took a chance and ordered it through Door Dash. I should have just stuck to my usual spot. This was fried and it just didn't taste as good as the one I'm used too, mines come baked and is more flavorful. The Chicken was fried too hard and was dry. I'll just continue to go to my Regular spot. 3 Stars because it came fast through Door Dash.

This last time we got food from here, it was awful. Had the crab cake which tasted like canned crab meat and not jumbo lump. Fries were awful. The shrimp fettuccine alfredo had absolutely no flavor. The best part of the meal was the chocolate cake. Will not be ordering from here again, especially not delivery.

I should've cked all the reviews b 4 going here & spending over $60 4 some garbage the crab imperial was horrible the cream of crab soup was horrible no favors at all & the only thing that was good was the plain crab cake nothing else 4 that type of money will nvr go back again

Food is good and the service is satisfactory and it's very chill on the inside. I will recommend this place to friends and family.

Came here to support a friends event. The Bar/Restaurant has been remodeled since I was last here. I sat at the bar and ordered a Lemon Drop and Greek Salad. The lemon drop was ok.... Wished it was in an actual martini glass with the sugared rim. But the Greek Salad... that was amazing.. 5 Stars. The salad was filled with shrimp. It was really good.

Of course I have frequented this place regularly since I was a teenager because I grew up in the area.... However this is the best I've ever seen it look. The renovations are updated and inviting. I would continue to frequent this establishment just because of the scenery. I came on a weekday with my daughter just to eat crabs, and the service was good as well. He was consistent and professional just not too personable. We sat outside and it was not crowded. It was intimate and private. The only thing that bothered me was the fact the inside had a DJ and music but I couldn't hear anything. But you know what he did, opened the outside door so I could. I was advised TVs will be coming outside soon. I will definitely be coming back.
