This is entertaining from start to finish. A very unique show, and different than I expected in a good way. Id best describe this as magic, comedy, and disbelief. The performance is up close and personal, and nobody could figure out quite how they did what they did.... including the people volunteering to be part of it, or the skeptical person sitting next to me (my boyfriend, who was amazed during the show). Very witty, comedic, and captivating, this is definitely worth going to see!Great for a family night out or date night. Something different and fascinating!

Saw a great show last night! Willard read some minds. Somehow he knew the image I was thinking of. Peter Wood was genuinely funny and did a crazy thing with a dice. The venue was really nice. The crowd was intimate and it felt like pretty much everyone got be involved. All around we had a great night.

Fantastic live magic performance. We're definitely coming back for more.We went to Willard's Parlour of Mystery to see "Timeless Deceptions" starring Matt and Peter Wood. It was a terrific show that entertained parents and teen and still has us talking about it the next day. This kind of performance has so much more impact when you see it live. The Parlour is tiny so it almost feels like a magic show given in a private home rather than a theater. I believe there were five rows of seats, and we were at the back, but could still see well. The Wood brothers were excellent showmen who combined magic and humor. Audience participation was frequent but not heavy-handed. Those of us who did not want to be on-stage participants were not badgered into doing so, and I hope that will be the case with future magic acts as well. The location is on the third floor of the Ballston Common Mall, in part of the former "Comedy Spot" space. If you were familiar with the "Comedy Spot," note that the entrance to the Parlour is around the corner next to the movie theater.

I brought a date with me to the Willard & Wood Evening of Impossibilities show at the Belvedere Hotel and had a great time! The performance hall was adjacent to the Owl Bar so we enjoyed some drinks and food before and after the show. Parking was simple with several garage and street options within a block or two. The historic Belvedere provided a classy atmosphere for an intimate evening of magic and mentalism.Willard and Wood's performance was full of quality magic, humor, and mystery, packaged within a professional designed and presented performance, all the way down to lighting, music, and stage design. Perhaps my favorite aspect of the evening was the intimate setting of the room - it made us feel like we were participating in every effect.Willard and Wood found an affordable way to create a classy night on the town for the average person and it was worth every dollar.I definitely plan to visit again.

Celebrating a family birthday, our family of 7 attended the show last night! What a delight!!! We laughed a lot and spent the hour driving back home talking about how it all may have been done.Lots of audience participation and our teenage grandchildren found it to be a fun evening as well, since they were given a chance or two to be part of the act! Everyone is up close and involved. Willard and Wood are both wonderful entertainers!!! Thanks for a unique family celebration!

What a great night!! I wasn't sure what to expect as we heard about this on Yelp and the pictures weren't abundant, but my wife and I decided to try to it for a fun night out. We were not disappointed!! Willard and Wood were super interactive with the audience and were great showmen. Being in the ballroom of the Grand, it wasn't the setup you'd expect of a comedy show or a venue that consistently holds shows like this. Personally, I thought this added to the allure. My wife was a "flapper" (you will know what this is if you see the show) so she spent ALL NIGHT trying to figure out how W&W did their "tricks." I'm much less inquisitive to things like this, so it was just flat out enjoyment for me. I will definitely be recommending this to friends and family.

What a cool event! These guys are old school entertainment, up close and personal. The venue in Baltimore is a fantastic old Masonic Temple, fully restored and connected to a hotel, right in the heart of the city. It's well worth the few extra dollars to sit in the first row, and no, you won't be embarrassed as you might worry with a comedy show. Both Willard and Wood are smooth and interactive, engaging the audience and bringing laughter. No matter how hard you try, you'll be left wondering how they pulled it off, from the first to the last. This is a clean, fun night...look for a GoldenTicket to get the best deal.Enjoy!
