After finishing some garden work with Volunteering Untapped at Frederick Douglas High School, we were treated to some yummy food catered by Wilde Thyme. It was a treat indeed!! The food was soooooo delicious and it was light so I didn't feel so weighed down after doing that hard work in the heat. I loved everything I put on my plate. I was sceptical about the hummus being oily but that was the best hummus I've ever tasted. The pita bread was warm and tasty... not dry like most pita breads I've tried. The potato salad and couscous were great too. I think my favorite item was the lemon tahini chicken salad. It went great with the pita. Everything was fresh and flavorful. It's good to have fueled my body with this deliciousness. I will be in search for your truck if I need a lemon tahini chicken salad fix.

Refreshing and different! I loved the variety. I was privileged to taste the many different food options this company had to offer after finishing a volunteer community project with Volunteering Untapped. Everything I tried was fresh and flavorful. It was nice to replenish my system with some nourishment that didn't make me feel weight down. The hummus, pita, cucumber slices and chicken salad were just what I needed. The couscous was delicious as well. I've never had chickpeas with cheese mixed in until I tried theirs, and I didn't hate it. I actually got seconds!I'm always interested in figuring out what my palette likes and Wild Thyme did the trick.

First experience of Wild Thyme catering for the Volunteering Untapped event at Frederick Douglass. I was able to sample a good portion of their spring menu: radishes/turnips and hummus, pita, lemon tahini chicken salad, lemon tahini potato salad, spring salad, and pickled onions. The first word that comes to mind is "FRESH!" This is one food truck that won't leave you feeling like you need a nap or 6 hours of vigorous exercise to recover from. The hummus was creamy and flavorful, the potato salad light and clean while still satiating, pickled onions are my weakness and they did not disappoint. Overall I would highly recommend this food truck if you're looking for a light meal on a sunny summer day. I look forward to trying their other seasonal menus once the temperatures start to drop!

I encountered Wilde Thyme when a friend and I went pumpkin picking at Weber's Cider Mill Farm. Our eyes were perhaps too big for our stomachs--we hadn't eaten anything all day, so we bought the cider-marinated chicken platter, the fried apple slices, and the sweet potato fries to share. The fries were pretty good, but that was about it. The chicken was bland and flavorless, and the rice it came with was soggy. The service was also very slow--we waited about 20 minutes for our food. If I were you, I'd skip lunch here and just grab extra cider donuts from the farm.

Great catering! Really enjoyed the vegetarian offerings. Some of the best hummus I've ever had! I would highly recommend for catering events, especially if there were vegetarian diet restrictions.
