White Rose Bar and Grill

One of the best spots in York! Have been here many times and it never disappoints no matter if it's for lunch, dinner, or just coming to grab some drinks. Come early though, they don't take reservations so it's first come first serve.The menu is big! Tons of different options. They have great seafood options too. The Crab Pretzel appetizer is great and shareable. So many of the Handheld choices are delicious. Tried the Cajun Seafood Wrap and it was so good! Great sweet potato fries as well!If you're getting drinks, the bar has plenty of options! Great selection of beer and cocktails. And always made well. White Rose is a really fun spot! The inside has plenty of seating and a cool vibe. There are 2 different bars inside as well. Definitely give White Rose a try if you're in town!

Food: Over cooked wings, horrible rueben, and under seasoned fries. The blue cheese and ranch were amazing!Service: Slow, inattentive, and just okay. Expected a bit better for a slower Sunday evening. Server was sweet and friendly though! Ambiance: Run of the mill bar/grill. Nothing that makes them stand out from others.

This was my second time eating here and the half and half soup was still delicious, full of crab meat and nice and hot. My entree consisted of the Atlantic salmon, baked potato, and broccoli, quite filling. Our service was good and the seating in the area we were in accommodated the 7 friends with me. My only issue was the bathroom filled with high school aged girls in there talking, gossiping and being in the way. Other than that, all was well and I'll be back.

Really enjoyed it here! The food and cocktails were great, and so was the service. I've been twice, and both times were consistent and great.

Stopped in for a drink and some appetizers and had a great time! We sat outside- great area for outside dining right downtown. The service was great, our waiter was very attentive. We ordered the pretzel bites, bang bang shrimp and the crown apple Moscow mules. The shrimp was delicious and a large portion size for the price, the pretzels were maybe a tad overdone but still tasted really good and also a large portion for a great price! The drinks were good and served in the classic mule mug! Overall a great experience, not 5 stars because I didn't have a full meal but I'm excited to come back and try some more of the menu!

Service was okay. Food came out in reasonable time but all of the food was cold. I got the chicken Alfredo, cold. Pretty small portion considering it is basically $20... the chicken was way way too salty. Mashed potato cold. Fries cold. Steak just warm.

Server Kerry was great! The atmosphere was casual, and the menu has a lot of American fare. I had bang bang shrimp that was very tasty. Drinks weren't too strong, but the bill wasn't too bad either. I'm not familiar with York, PA, but it didn't look like there were many fancy places. This was definitely one of the better looking spots as far as I could see.

Great food, got wings , salad , soup, burger & onion rings .... And of course troegs beerOnly problem is the corner this gem is on ... very noisy and busy street ... cars ....ambulances etc Not an optimal location unfortunately but it's still worth coming to !

The good: friendly service, good location. Noisy inside (expected as it is a bar), but sitting outside is better if the weather allows. The bad: We heard really great things about their seafood, so my date and I got salmon on cedar planks plank with scallops. The salmon filet was drenched in sauces, and the scallops had an ammonia aftertaste, indicating they were spoiled and should have been discarded, not served to humans.

Chips are crunchy okay. I chose this side rather than the fries. They were a little hard but edible. The chips were lightly seasoned.
