The prices are great! Food is good. This is not a bar to sit at if you are not up for the whole "boys will be boys" excuse for inappropriate comments.

I have been to Wesley's countless times over the years. The food isn't the best, but it certainly isn't bad either. I've always liked to play some keno and watch while I eat. Then grab some Powerball or Mega Millions tickets and a bottle of something on the way out. Was in on a Friday night when it was realively busy. It took 15 minutes for a server to get drinks, 35 minutes for an appetizer and another 35 minutes for the main meal. I looked up and realized from the time I sat down until the time I finished my dinner, almost an hour and a half had elapsed - way too long. The food was good though.3 stars because I had great servers in the past at Wesley's, so I know it was just an off night - it happens. Of course I will definitely return, and I will write my next review - I am hoping for a 4-5 star next time.

Disappointed to say the least, I've never ate here before despite living in the area 25 years and let me tell you I wish I had kept my streak going. I ordered the crab imperial, with squash, zucchini and carrots as my first side and rice as my second side. The crab imperial was full of shells to the point it wasn't edible, when I told the waitress she was very nice about it and offered something different so I ordered a crab cake thinking it way be better... it wasn't it was also full of shells. All in all I'm very disappointed at the quality of the food. The only redeeming factor about this place was the waitress she was a sweetheart.

My husband and I went to Wesley's a couple of days ago for dinner. Both of our meals were awesome ! I had crab imperial and my husband had stuffed flounder, we both had stuffed baked potato and salad ~ and we also had fresh hot buttered rolls -- yummy -- I have had the drunken clams before and they are also very tasty -- We have also had many of their soups and a couple of beers at the bar when it is cold outside -- it is a cute bar and nice restaurant-- it beats driving to Newark or Chesapeake City seafood restaurants that charge more money -- Cheers!

We were in the area, ate here for the first time Sept 29 (Sunday). I always seek out seafood if possible and this place did not disappoint. It is very casual, which I like. I don't care for pretentious expensive places. My husband and I each ordered Taste of the Sea - very reasonable price of $20 for crab, fish and shrimp, comes with two sides. I had a salad as one side, it was really nice and not skimpy with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, carrot, onion, croutons. I think the ranch dressing might be homemade because it was delicious, if not I want to know what brand they are buying! The coleslaw is sweet and creamy based which is not my favorite, but that's ok. The seafood we ordered broiled, all was cooked perfectly and it was wonderful!

The waitress, Jane, was fantastic! The food was wonderful! Everything was brought out in a timely manner and was nice and hot. We could barely walk when we left because the portions are so big.

my family goes here all the time and raved about the place. we went sunday and i was not that impressed. the crab cake had no seasoning at all, and the waitress was less than attentive. maybe it was a bad day, not sure i will try it again though.

Haven't been there in decades!! Came for the car show and wound up going in for a meal. Service seems a little slow on the restaurant side, more likely to only having 1 server. However......had a crabcake sandwich which was incredible! Didn't notice any filler,, just pure crab meat. Except for going farther down along the Chesapeake, hard pressed to find a better one. Made up for the wait. French fries were nice and crisp. So yes, crabcakes and seafood in general are not cheap, expect to spend a little more than a burger.

I had an excellent steak cooked perfectly with a great craft beer. They have over 100 craft beers to pick from. The place is clean I got fast friendly service. The patrons are nice too. I got 20% off by joining their VIP Text Club. Now I get a FREE Desert on my Birthday!
