Walt's Inn

Walt's Inn is the BEST. This is a dive bar that always has karaoke and is always a good time. They are known for their Jell-O shots and drinks in red solo cups. It can get fairly busy here on the weekends so if you're planning to sing, it's best to get there earlier. There is also a 2 drink minimum for singing, but after that you can sing as many times as you want, you just get a slip from the DJ. Come here for a very fun atmosphere!

What a great dive bar. From what I understand the place is under new ownership. Very LGBTQ+ friendly. It seems like the original decor from a 90 year old bar but it is very clean. I was pleasantly surprised from the throw back vibes but not afraid to have a mixed drink :) They recently upgraded their soundsystem to a Danley Sound Labs soundsytem.. the same speakers that Epcot uses for the World Showcase show. Talk about a wild Karaoke crowd! The drinks are ridiculously cheap and you must try the Gummy Bear shot that is literally marinated gummy bears!

We came in when there were only a few people but the placed packed out quickly with a great crowd! Only thing was that I did observe an interaction that was not comfortable. An african-american young man attempted to introduce himself to the bartender. He said to her, "ma'am I didn't catch your name." With her back turned to him she responded, "I didn't give it to you." He politely introduced himself. She stated her name rather abruptly without turning around to acknowledge him and walked away. I didn't observed this behavior with any other patrons. It was uncomfortable. Otherwise, we had a great time!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. You might be LGBTQ friendly, but you sure as hell are not friendly to people of color. The owner was incredibly disrespectful. Won't be back again. My friends and I (people of color) were treated and spoken to like children.

I was in town for work and decided to get the gang together for a karaoke night. Tried the signature Jell-O shots and drunken gummy bears, they were very tasty and strong. I had a few beers and although it was busy I was served within a reasonable time.The bar is small and I wouldn't recommend it for large groups (10+). It was pretty packed which added to the atmosphere when the karaoke started rocking. I love the energy of the bar. It was so fun when everyone in the bar started singing along.The karaoke system is really easy. Just write the name of the song and the artist and hand it to the friendly staff. No books or other materials to mess with.Finally, I suggest bringing cash. It's just easier as the credit card machine is old and slow.

I have been to this bar numerous times when visiting Baltimore. Its really a great spot for Karaoke and gets super packed on the weekends.The drinks they pour here are enormous and come in 12 oz solo cups. WE had two mixed drinks and a beer for 12 bucks, its no wonder this place is a big hit. Its on my must visit list as they have karaoke 7 nights a week. Go check it out for a great time.And remember their tagline here, Walts Inn.. STUMBLE OUT. Hilarious....

Great dive with a fun vibe! Came on a Saturday night and it was PACKED. The crowd was super friendly and it was a blast. Jell-O shots in a bar is not something I see often but is always great. Two drink minimum for people to sing karaoke is a solid policy that I support.Minus two stars for the karaoke host. Over the course of the night we saw MULTIPLE people go up to sing more than once while we waited and never had our name called. Favoritism to regulars is totally a thing that happens and I get it but it's shitty.

Here's an unusual comment for a karaoke bar (or maybe not) GREAT costumer service. So I originally did email the bar requesting songs, not really thinking I would ever get a response (let's be real, the latest updates on alotta business sites could be decades ago) but I said, why not!? Well I DID get a response which was awesome, however, at the time they were working on my requests....due to liscensing issues...makes sense. Anyways, just got another email from them saying they found my songs! Do you know how happy this makes me?!?!?! Best news I've gotten all year =p Thanks WALT'S INN! You guys are outstanding in service and entertainment. You've made my month spectacular and I can't wai tto visit again.

Every time i'm in the area, usually after an event at "The Creative Alliance", I make my way to Walt's. I love this place. EVERYone is here to have fun. It's a very upbeat, raucous crowd. I love to sing anyway, so coming here is, for me, a real high anyway. There are people of all abilities singing, and there's no sense of judgement, or ridicule...just go for it. Everyone applauds, and gives you props. It's always PACKED...you have to literally squeeze your way through to the microphone when they call you...so you get to meet everyone on the way. If Karaoke is your thing, either to sing, or just watch, and drink up the fun vibe, go here. Shout out to my fellow singers! Chuck

If karaoke is your thing, this is your place! Very wide selection of songs, good singer rotation, and lots of fun! The new owners have really done the place right - more days open, better sound system, and lots of TVs. Great decorations during Christmas as well (think Valley View Farms). Oh, and the KJs are awesome!I will say that Saturdays can get real crowded and I heard that parking in the neighborhood is difficult (many people will take transportation to get here).So if you want to sing or just watch, have lots of fun, and enjoy cheap but strong drinks, Walt's Inn is it! Open Wed through Sat and Sun before holidays.
