Waiting To Oxtail

Got to check out Waiting to Oxtail at their pop up in the newly renovated Hollins market and let me just say they did not disappoint! Oxtails were tender & flavorful & the oxtail pizza was delicious. I loveddddddd the Curry Greens They also have fruit lemonades where they use real fruit puree, I loved the pineapple mint and strawberry flavors! The oxtail & jerk chicken tacos were pretty good but I would ask for sauce or sour cream next time to go with them.

I saw this place on Instagram and my wife LOVES Oxtail so I knew we needed to go. This place is located in a gated broken down school parking lot in the cut to the far left. Beware the area is sketchy as hell. There was a Mercedes Benz blocked in by a forklift in the parking lot. He made sure no one would be stealing that. To get in you have to be buzzed in like you're in jail. Once inside everyone is funneled to a receptionist for all the businesses inside. We were told we could only place our orders within the app so we did.I ordered the Oxtail Tacos and my wife ordered the Oxtail Fried rice. The Tacos were delicious but tiny. I get that oxtail is expensive so I guess $22 is reasonable. The Fried rice was good. Nothing amazing or mind blowing. It was cool to try but nothing made us need to return. Worth a shot though.

Ordered, via Ubereats, the oxtail ramen with coco bread for a workday lunch at home. Oxtail ramen has a great presentation. Ramen soup was packaged separately. The meal was good but overpriced for sure. The oxtail portion was considerably underwhelming.

Perfect portions! The oxtail was extremely tender and flavorful! The rice and peas had amazing texture and you could taste the seasoning throughout. The plantains were perfectly grilled and sweet! I ordered through DoorDash and the food was still HOT when it arrived. Packed well. We also ordered the oxtail patties but I am so full I haven't tried them yet LOL! When I do I'll come back and add to my experience. So far this is a must repeat!

The food and customer service was fantastic. composers my food and came to pick it up (follow the instructions they give you because you have to enter into a building that says La. Chow which is part of Stafford University; just make a left when you come into through the gates). I tied the coco bread and I was like this is good. then I tried the Oxtail pattie, and it was phenomenal. Very flavorful and meaty. Then I tired the oxtail sub; and it was also pretty good. I finally tried the fried lobster fried rice.... omgggggg. The jerk shrimp on it....I have no words. It was sooo good. I'm mad, I haven't come here sooner. I already know that I will be back many of times. Now, the customer service was just as exceptional. They were so kind and professional. I left feeling warm hearted because their energy.

Ehh... I'll admit I was hyped after reading the reviews. But I had a few items and it was just okay and overpriced. Take a look at the mac&cheese and tell me that's $9. It had a nice soul food flavor, but some of the noodles were undercooked. The patty was Good. I ate that up. The fried rice... I was certainly expecting more meat. Maybe it's just me but I prefer my oxtail on the bone. Just like I prefer my wings on the bone. Anyway it was very demure. I didn't eat more than one spoon of the rice and gave the rest to my husband. I'm not a fan of parboiled rice. That's probably what did it. We paid $55 for the Macaroni and cheese, 2 patties, and the oxtail fried rice. There is no restaurant. You pull up to the Stratford University building and when you get inside you pickup from a counter after saying which place you ordered from. So, no ambience or service to judge.

I had a chance to try this place for the first time and it was delicious! I ordered online which was simple and easy. The site notified you if there was a menu option that was sold out, which I appreciated it. I was looking forward to trying the oxtail egg rolls but they were sold out It's alright though, I'll get them next time! I ordered the jerk salmon Rasta pasta and oxtail beef patty! My food was ready in 25 mins. All food is carryout since they're operating in a ghost kitchen. My food was still hot once I got home after a 30 min drive! The pasta was delicious, full of flavor and creamy! They give you a plenty of sauce which I love!! Now the patty...SO GOOD! Perfectly cooked crust filled with meat! I would definitely order this every time I come! There's plenty of parking and signs to direct you. Definitely recommend!!

An absolute gem in Baltimore and a must must must visit! We had no idea about this restaurant and found out about it through Instagram. Finding the location can be a little tricky, but follow the exact instructions that they have shared on their Instagram page and you should be all set. We ordered the oxtail tacos with consume and mango salsa and were absolutely mindblown by how flavorful and delicious everything was. This is a ghost kitchen in an old culinary building so it is take-out only, but believe me when I say the food was so good, that we ended up finishing our order in the parking lot itself. Can't wait to come back and try the other options on their menu, definitely a Baltimore gem that deserves more recognition!!

For $16 these little wings is crazy will not be ordering again Mac and cheese is ok way better than other Jamaican spot
