I went around 11 am on a Saturday so it was a little packed inside but the line moved quickly enough. I ordered the Maple Spice Latte and banana bread to go. They were out of almond croissants, blueberry, and carrot muffins while I was there. The inside of the shop was cute and spacious. There were tables available for people to work but the shop may be too loud if you're looking for a quiet workspace. The music selection was great and I loved the selections. My MSL was delicious and the perfect fall flavor. I would go back just for that alone. Plus, there's plenty of parking available in the lot and nearby. That's always a win in my book.

If you're searching for an artistic, tucked-away café in College Park, MD, Vigilante Coffee is the perfect destination. This cozy establishment offers an impressive selection of pastries and expertly crafted lattes. During our visit, my husband and I enjoyed the Maple Spice Lattes, the Almond Croissant, and the Honey Pistachio Kouign Amann--all of which were absolutely enjoyable.Conveniently situated on Route 1, this location provides approximately four to five parking spaces directly in front. However, additional paid parking options, including a lot and a garage, are available on either side of the café.Beyond its great food and delightful customer service, Vigilante Coffee also features a selection of unique merchandise. I couldn't resist purchasing a stylish coffee-themed pin as a souvenir. Without a doubt, I will be returning for another visit.

You could do worse than Vigilante Coffee for an afternoon break. I love the industrial vibe and the care the staff take to write your name in the foam of a cup of hot chocolate. I wish there was a better selection of pastries, but you can't have everything.I did find myself wondering why there were so few tables in what is in fact a large space. Perhaps they want to leave enough room for lines for what is essentially a take-out business? That would also explain why two of the five parking spaces are for 10 minute parking. There is inexpensive metered parking right next door, so it's not a big deal. A place to return to and get to know its rhythms and rolls better.

Great coffee, great atmosphere and great service! My only suggestion is to have more electric outlets available to plug in a computer while we enjoy a nice cup of coffee.

I ordered the honey cinnamon latte. It was served warm/cold, which was weird because I saw them make it and I picked it up when they called my name. I like my drinks hot and it was just odd that it was served on the colder side. Cute location. Maps took me behind the coffee shop and I had to pay for parking so make sure you stay on the main road and park in front of the shop for free parking. Nothing was exceptional here so I won't be back but it was fun to try.

Really good. It's no wonder there's a constant line here. A bit packed and chaotic but the line and order comes quick. Small bathroom but decent. Not too many seats but we were able to find some. I parked a block away in the retail paid parking area and walked over.I got a half bagel with avocado, tomatoes, micro greens and balsamic vinaigrette. It was perfectly toasted and fresh. I got my matcha latte with oat milk at 50% sweetness and it was probably the best matcha latte I've ever had.... The sweetness was just right - there were chunks of matcha at the bottom but I thought it wasn't too bitter so I really enjoyed it. I rarely finish a hot drink in one sitting like that.

I frequent Vigilante's many locations as their food, coffee, and service is on point. An Açaí bowl is my go-to. Ambiance for UMD location varies upon the day (it's a college town of course) but it doesn't bother me.

Still one of my favorite independent coffee shops. I've gone a total of two times but every time I go their coffee is on point. I got a small London fog iced with oatmilk and it was perfection. My boyfriend tried their tin Lizzie espresso in vanilla latte iced. I tried some and I enjoyed the hazelnut/earthy taste but has. Service was average. They actually forgot to make my boyfriend's drink and saw us waiting. But it came out quickly after they realized. The shop is pretty small. It's also quite noisy so not really my place to study.

Vigilante brews are my favorite beans in Maryland so far. if I see a coffee shop sourcing their beans from Vigilante, i am there. you can't go wrong with any of their drinks. a classic hot latte will always be at the top for me. that way, you really get to taste the flavor of the beans! always a go to spot for me. ALSO!! the hyattsville location is amazing - they do a 30% discount on all drinks after 4pm; their "happy hour" which is perfect for broke college students like me haha
