Just pitiful.
Toughest goat meat ever! 11-01-22
This was for peanut soup. With tough meat smh.
Mushy fufu. 11-01-22
The broth was the only thing that was halfway good.

4/13/24We were looking for a seafood restaurant that the hotel recommended. But we went to the wrong location, and it was just a fish market. But next door was a Ghanaian restaurant and decided to get some takeout.I got Egusi with Fish. Heated it up the next day. It was so good.I thought it was eggs. LOL. Turns out it's a seed they mashed up. It sort of reminded me of Ackee (Jamaican)Genevieve Flo and Philjean were so friendly. We chatted while waiting for the freshly made food.If we lived in MD, we would be going to try everything on the menu

I do not recommend this restaurant. We purchased our meal for lunch. They open the restaurant at 12noon but nothing was ready. There also was a long wait. I ordered the peanut soup with goat meat. That had to have been the toughest meat I have ever encountered. I had to literally throw it all away because I couldn't chew it. Out of all the meat. One piece was edible. The soup broth was ok but the fufu was so mushy. It literally had no texture. It was like eating some soggy Mashed potatoes. For the cost of the soup. It was not worth it. Definitely will not be returning and don't recommend. They just took my money.

Every time I order from here, my food is delicous! The first time I ordered Banku, egusi soup with fried fish. I also ordered a small side or jollof rice with stew and shitto. My tummy was doing the happy dance entire car ride home! When I finally ate, my nose didn't betray me; everything was delicious!! My fish was perfectly seasoned down to the bone, the egusi soup was soooo good, and OMG, the banku had the right texture and just the perfect amount of sourness. I revisited yesterday and picked up Waakye, gari, and fried fish; my mother ordered jollof and fried fish. Everything was so delicious I almost ate the plastic container my food came in! My mother said the food took her right back to her trip to Ghana (she's very picky)!Everyone is friendly and my order is always finished in a reasonable amount of time! Ms. Vieve and family, thank you for bringing a piece of Ghana to Laurel!
