I did a quick drop in for a sweet treat. The shop is very small but they have a good variety of options. I tasted a sample of the snickers gelato, which was sooooo soooo good but it was very soft (almost a melted consistency) and I didn't think it would survive a car ride home, so I decided against it.I didn't want to leave empty handed so I got 4 different cookies to try out. I enjoyed the chocolate coconut and the salted caramel, the other 2 I didn't care for. I will be back to try the gelato in shop very soon because I'm still thinking about it!

This place was so delicious! I was walking the neighborhood looking for brunch and nothing was standing out to me, but when I peeked in the window and saw the bakery box here I knew I had to stop in! The guy at the counter was very helpful and accommodating. I asked him to give me an assortment of cookies and decided to try the breakfast panini and I was very impressed! The cookies were all unique flavors, many new to me. I enjoyed mostly all of them. And the panini was huge! It was really good too. I could only eat half. It would've been even better with some sauce on it, but I'm a sauce girl. It was delicious either way. Definitely recommend stopping in for some pastries when you're in the area!

Great little spot on the Square for an espresso and a pastry. Just like the flagship store in Little Italy but smaller. They have a large selection of pastries, cakes, gelato, and of course, cannoli. We could not take the wait for Cafe Dear Leon, and ended up getting coffee and pastries here. Also - every coffee comes with a very tasty cookie.

I am a pastry lover through and through but I am also a picky eater. I ordered the chocolate granola (I believe that's what it was called) and did not like it :(. TBH I genuinely think I picked an item so far from what I would ever order that I played myself! My boyfriend ordered the gelato and he said it was the BEST so I'm blaming myself for not picking something better. I do want to come back here and try another pastry because I know their baked goods are phenomenal because that's what everyone was telling us when we were in line to order lol! I would recommend coming to this shop on a calm Saturday night. You'll have more time to think about what you want to order and on top of that less of a crowd because it does get crowded in there!

Amazing pastries. The chocolate eclairs are the real thing, with homemade creamy custard filling, tender pastry and generous chocolate spread on top. And they are huge...share it, or enjoy the whole one all by yourself!

I stopped in after dinner on a Friday night for a treat. They're open until 10, so that was easy enough. All of the cookies looked delectable but I was on a mission to get one, regular cannoli. There was a short line to order but the woman behind the counter got to me quickly. The cannoli itself was a bit sweeter than it needed to be. I wish they had the option to get one without all of the powdered sugar on the shell. It detracted from the other flavors. If I had to choose between here and somewhere else for a cannoli, I'd go somewhere else. Someone with more of a sweet tooth might appreciate this spot more. I'll pass on the powdered sugar.

Vaccaro's has been in business since 1956, and I've wanted to visit for a long time. After a dinner at a nearby restaurant recently, my friends and I visited Vaccaro's for a dessert after dinner. My friend and I shared a few cookies and an affogato, and some other friends grabbed some other treats to go. They had a great selection of Italian desserts, and the service was great. Great vibes too - very traditional Italian bakery vibes. I'm so glad places like this are still around in Baltimore - some old school places that haven't changed in years and years. Would happily return for some more treats in the future!

My boyfriend and I have come in here a few times for Gelato and had a fine experience ordering. Today I walked in requesting a muffaletta as was advertised on the board outside. The cashier asked which one and I was confused. I again repeated muffaletta. She then again asked extremely rudely, "WHICH ONE??" and gesticulated wildly at the board behind her. Listen. Traditionally, a muffaletta is specific type of sandwich, not a choice of several wildly different ones. There was no need to fly off the handle because I was a little uninformed. The older woman behind the counter was very pleasant but silver hoop earrings needs to chill the hell out. So unprofessional. Wary of going back in here.

The Best Cannoli in Baltimore! If you follow me on Yelp, I was in Boston last month at Modern Bakery & Bova Bakery trying their cannoli. I'm walking by Vaccaro bakery and I see they're putting in a new bakery case. In front of me is a man directing the show, after reading their website, I'm assuming it's Nick Vaccaro. I ask him, what's your favorite items here?He says the Pignoli cookies are amazing but the cannoli are our specialty. Wow, do you have any with dried fruit or pistachio? He said we do not but I'm going to change your mind with my chocolate chip. He tells the counterperson to wrap up a chocolate chip cannoli. First inspection, the fresh smell is almost intoxicating. I can feel the shell is freshly made. Before I continue, I have to give a shout-out to Vaccaro's Italian Pastry Shop. Opened in 1956, they've been serving Baltimore proud since. I'm glad I didn't see any Elmo cookies like some bakeries in my beloved New York City, catering to the masses. This is a true Pasticceria serving quality Sicilian treats. Now I take a bite. The hard shell is very fresh but the star of the show is the ricotta cream filling. It's silky smooth and has a unique taste. This has to be my top three cannoli I had in my life!Villabate alba - My childhoodModern Pastry - Pistachio cannoli all dayVaccaro's Pastry - Baltimore won my heart with their elegant cannoliIf you're in Baltimore, Vaccaro's is a must stop. Try their cannoli, it's a game changer!

I used to visit there a lot. The last time I was there with a couple of friends, the waitress refused to serve us because we didn't wait for them to seat us. The place was empty, and no one tried to help us. There were six nasty girls as waitresses. We asked them several times to help us, but they didn't. We left the place. I will never walk in the place again. Bad management.
