Urban Crab Shack

Me and my lady came here and had an amazing time. We ordered the following:Tropical Long Island: 6/10 hella strongGreen teas: 10/10 perfect and get the job doneCrab balls: 9/10 small but plenty crabBoom boom shrimp: 9/10 need more sauce 1/2 pound shrimp: 10/10 Wings: 6/10 just coolUrban noodles and shrimp: 10/10 amazing flavor, have to peel shrimp Sat at the bar and was served by Ms. April she was fantastic and we will only be returning when she is there. Ambiance is very nice, seating was plentiful and bar wraps all the way around with TVs in the middle. Everything including tip was $60.

Saw an amazing review of here online so I was excited to try it. Don't believe everything you see on IG...Made the drive and walked in, it's dark and the vibe is great. However, trash and shells under the tables, staff isn't welcoming etc. Went to use the restroom and the doors are broken, the walls are caked with a layer of scum, the hand dryer is dirty and nasty. Hair all over the toilet seats etc. smelled like weed and urine before you even go into the bathroom. At this point, I went to sit down and the tables are all sticky etc. There's no excuse on a Sunday, where there's no one in the restaurant to clean your spaces. I can't imagine what the kitchen looked like. Didn't try the food, left immediately. Been in tons of crab spots like this, the AYCE is really the catch but not worth the nasty.

This could be a great place for many but I don't think it was right for me.It took a little bit (15 mins) to get service after getting seated around 8 PM. What also may work for others didn't necessarily work for me - loud music for dancing made it hard for conversation but did provide a great vibe if you are looking for a mix of dancing and seafood. The only other issue I encountered was I had ordered crab from their menu but they didn't have tools for eating crab....which made my dining experience pretty difficult. The food tasted great and what I'd have expected from an East Coast Seafood diner.

Stopped in this Saturday for Happy Hour. I entered on the bar side. It was a few people at the bar and a couple of people at the tables. I was heading to a seat at the end of the bar. Right before I got there the bartender turned as if it were taken or she was expecting someone. Long story short no one came and sat in that seat. Ok let's move on. I think I was expecting a more social vibe. The bartender handed me a menu and a few minutes after that she placed some water in front of me. She gave me a few minutes and then came back to take my order. I only ordered cheese sticks and boom boom shrimp. Before the food came out she gave me a marinara sauce. The food arrived . I didn't think much of the cheese sticks and the marinara was nasty to me. I did like the boom boom shrimp. I had two drinks while I was there. The strawberry margarita which didn't have a salt or sugar rim on it did nothing for me. The lemon drop didn't do it for me either. Overall the only thing that I liked was the boom boom shrimp. This is definitely not a place I would be excited to return to again. I say check it out for yourself and let me know what you think??????

The bartender Destiny was excellent.. Drinks on point & food was delicious.. A Nice Spot for Happy Hour.. We spent about 3hrs here.. I had the Boom Boom Shrimp & loaded fries.. Food was hot & fresh..Clean restaurant & bathroom.. Come check them out & enjoy your time

We went here for happy hour after work and I was plesantly surprise. They have a pretty good $5 -$10 HH menu. I got the steamed shrimp with med seasoning and they were delicious and a nice size. I chased it down with a Barbie drink that has prosecco, and watermelon vodka in it. If you like strong drinks, then this is the place for you. Our bartender April was great. I told her I like more of a sweet drink so she added a little simple syrup:) She also gave recommendations on the menu. Overall this place had a nice vibe and good food and I will definitely check it out again.

To sum it up: Food was mostly good; prices are great; service is in the negative.I visited twice... dine in both times. I ordered shrimp honey tacos, sweet potato fries, crab balls and a churro with vanilla ice cream. The tacos were good and I loved the honey sauce that was drizzled on them. You get two tacos, which is just enough for one person and it came with the fries. The sweet potato fries are very good as they are, no sauce or cinnamon needed. The crab balls were good, but Mt favorite was that sauce! The sauce is so delicious. The churro has absolutely no flavor. No cinnamon, no sugar, nothing at all. The dipping sauces are probably the lowest generic brand of chocolate sauce and honey. The ice cream was the most basic ice cream, likely generic. First time I ordered a drink it was good, small in size though but matches the pricing... 2nd visit my drink never came smdh... Service is more like 1 star, but I gave them a general rating of 2 stars only because of the food. First visit - It took a while to be acknowledged, a little bit of time to be seated, and a lot of time for the waiter to come to our table. 2nd visit - we were acknowledged and seated quickly, but it still took a very long time for our waiter to come to the table... the guy who seated us the first time was not dressed in work attire so we had raised upbrows when he said he would seat us as he was walking fast to hurry up and get rid of dishes. I think they may be short staffed. The waiter both times gave 1 to 2 star service. They weren't mean or rude, but they didn't give good service. They were both young and clueless about how to give great service. It appears this place is just running itself, no experienced manager or staff. The music was good both times. Vibes seem cool when you enter, but this place lacks the right staff. It has great potential to be better than it is... At first I said my experience with the service will not stop me from visiting again because no one was rude... just lacked customer service skills and staff probably wasn't trained on how to 'service' customers. However, after the 2nd visit, I don't think I will return unless I sit at the bar.Happy hour prices are amazingly great. I like the happy hour Neverending time.

Urban Crab Shack has great drinks and great boils! The service we received from Kyla was awesome! She was attentive and welcoming! But we expected that part from a Morganite! Thank you for a great experience!

Food - over cooked Customer service - trash ! Asked for dipping sauce sat for 20 mins waiting for , waitress had an attitude smart remarks& I drove all the way down here from PA IG MADE ME COME HERE AND THE INTERNET IS A LIEEE I'll be goin to McDonald's..

I called this place multiple times with no answer. Their voicemail just tells you to call back. I DM them on Instagram and Facebook with no response. I left a voicemail. No response. I had a simple question. Is this business even open? If they are, just from my experience before even getting there I would say poor customer service.
