Unity Bar and Restaurant

I came here late on a Wednesday night and they were able to come in for the save! The restaurant inside was pretty slow, but there were a few people at the bar and the majority of people outside enjoying hookah. We were able to get a full meals at 10pm, which was so perfect and much needed. Our service was great and effective. I have been on the lookout for a great turkey burger in the city and this one is definitely in the running-- the fries were good too!

This past Saturday, my friends and I decided to check out Unity Bar and Grill, and we had an absolutely fantastic time! The vibes were on point, with a perfect mix of R&B and rap music that really set the mood for a great night out.Starting with the drinks, they were amazing! I had an Espresso Martini and the Red Head, both of which were delicious and perfectly made. My friends tried the Nipple Me cocktail, and they couldn't stop raving about it--definitely a 10/10.As for the food, I went for the salmon meal. The salmon itself was a real standout--cooked to perfection with a flavor that was out of this world. Unfortunately, the sides didn't quite measure up. The rice was undercooked and cold, as was the asparagus. It was a bit disappointing given how amazing the salmon was.My friends had the Cajun Chicken Pasta, and they shared it was amazing. Overall, Unity Bar and Grill is a spot I'd definitely recommend, especially for the drinks, music, customer service at the bar and overall vibe. Just a little more attention to the side dishes, and it could be perfect!

Tonight was my first time there. The drinks were on point. Food was delicious and service handled a large crowd with ease. It's not that far from my office so I'll definitely be back.

Smaller but great vibe. Great bar selection, tvs, comfortable seating. Ordered a drink and the rib eye steak with asparagus and broccoli. Steak was great and decently priced, asparagus was great, broccoli was good. Waitresss had a great personality and was very helpful. Definitely will be back.

Popped in here with a big group on a Friday night and they were able to accommodate ten of us. Service was speedy! We had drinks and apps quickly which made me happy. I tried the quickie cocktail with bourbon lemon and ginger and it hit the spot. Had the salmon BLT which was nicely prepared and was tasty. The standout was the vibe-they had a DJ and he didn't miss! All the hits-afrobeats, soca, all of it. I was grooving in my seat. Will def be back for HH or brunch!

Came here with friends on Taco Tuesday during happy hour. I've been sitting here for almost an hour and still did not receive my first drink. This is unacceptable. Why does it take an hour to get a drink??? Happy hour is almost over. We put in more drink orders to get the price. We may not get them till closing. I tried but this is awful. This will be my last time. And then to top it off the owner of the establishment parks his car in the handicap space because the space is located in front of the restaurant??? I kindly asked him to move his car. Do I really need to explain to a grown man that this is illegal and it doesn't matter that you are the owner??? Such arrogance and entitlement. He moved his car saying he doesn't want to argue because it's the holidays. Are you kidding me? There's no argument. Your car is illegally parked. He needs to tell that to the city maybe or the police.

Hey friends! I Yelped some Black-Owned Restaurants near the Pier Six Pavilion last week for the T-Pain concert and came across this place. Wasn't the greatest experience, but the place has potential so I'll be back. They offer typical American fare, a few pastas and a couple Caribbean dishes. Their cocktail menu is impressive. We started off with the Red Head and Nipple Me cocktails. The bartender was having a great day, those drinks were amazing. One was enough for us to feel a buzz! I order the veggie burger. Fries were cold and patty was dry. I should've asked for some sort of sauce or dressing as the sandwich was bland and underwhelming. My brother ordered the salmon BLT. It's awkwardly plated as you can see in the photo lol. Nonetheless my brother said it was tasty. His fries were cold as well. Service was underwhelming. Our waiter was not personable or welcoming. It wasn't busy so I couldn't excuse it. The bartender seemed to be friendly. Next time we will sit at the bar for friendly, fast service. The interior is one of the best I've seen recently! It has a dark, moody atmosphere with unique seating arrangements. The bar had neon lighting which was pretty cool. There was a DJ station which they likely use for brunch on the weekends. I'll definitely be giving Unity another chance! This is a great place to grab drinks before concerts at Pier Six or heading to the harbor for a stroll. Both are less than 10 minutes away. Enjoy! I actually really do like it here. Nothing like oxtails and rice at 10pm .... The bartender wasn't overly friendly just meh. But the vibe in here is cool. They even have a dj.

The place is unmarked but as long as you have the address, you're good. We went for Saturday brunch. The location is an intimate size but is nice! The waiter Mike, was the only one working as he mentioned they were short staff- HE HELD IT DOWN. We literally didn't wait more than 10 mins for anything. The music,vibe, decor and food were all great. Reasonably priced and I'll be back!

This place is amazing! The vibes are immaculate! You enter to a cozy place and the playlist never disappoints. The food is fantastic! Burger was great! Fish tacos were great! This place has one of the best wings I have had. The wings are crispy and still moist. Their happy hour prices are great as well. I am in D.C. for a week and I have been to Unity four times. This place is just that good. The only thing I can knock it down with is the waitress. The waitress had never came back after she took my order, but that was only one time. Great bar definitely coming again!
