Uncle Ou's

The food is always fresh. Portion sizes are what you should expect. I've been going there since I used to live in middle river. I'll drive from my home in Dundalk just to eat there. They are very friendly, always acknowledge you with a smile when you come in. Every time someone gets chinese from somewhere I'll say "this is good but it's not Uncle Ou's". They set the standard for what Chinese food should taste like.

Food smelled so good from the outside when we were waiting for a prescription. Got steak egg rolls, and egg Fu yung . We requested light onion for the shrimp fried rice and they were happy to oblige. 3 big pattys, gravy was in a separate container and a generous amount of rice. I had plenty to share when I got home.

Black pepper chicken lunch special with chicken fried rice instead of pork. With extra onions add egg so fresh and good!!

First time eating here and it was sooo good. The service was fast for a busy Friday and the lady who took my order was the nicest! I got free donuts and a free half n half.

Old school chinese food place. Love the food and the price. Not the prettiest place inside but the food is always hot and fresh!Best takeout chinese food in the area!

This was the best local Chinese carry out I've had in 10 years! Most shrimp toast around Perry Hall/White Marsh lately is dripping with wet grease and total mush. This was crispy, fresh and hot. The crab wontons could have had a bit more crab, but were perfectly tender with the right amount of sweetness! The hot and sour soup was packed full of ingredients and really HOT which is my preference.Best of all the entrees...general Taos chicken was sweet hot and tender. By far the best I've ever tasted! I don't normally do Lo Mein but the chicken lo mein was sweet and spicy. I would have preferred more chicken since the small amount in there was tasty and perfectly cooked but the noodles were satisfying enough. I look forward to trying hunan chicken next visit.As an add on, the people were so polite and friendly! And the free donuts were a nice add on! Me and the kids loved them :) We found a new "go to" for Chinese!!

This used to be my favorite Chinese food restaurant, I especially liked their fried chicken wings covered in General Tso sauce with shrimp fried rice as the side order. I placed my order online and couldn't wait to get it but when it finally arrived, I was thoroughly disappointed. I recently had Chinese food while in Ft. Lauderdale and ordered 6 wings only to receive my order and find that they give you 3 whole wings cut into 6 pieces. The nerve of these people! I told my wife that I was glad they don't do this back home in Baltimore.Fast forward to yesterday, I get my order and start eating and I notice that they've cut my wings up and what do I discover? Three wings cut up and sold as 6 wings! What kind of bootleg nonsense is this?!What grown person has their chicken wing fix sated with just 3 wings? Who buys just 3 wings? What kind of nonsense is this?! I'm thoroughly disappointed in Uncle Ou's! Is this the new norm in carry out Chinese food?! Someone call congress or the senate or something, this is a travesty of justice to say the least!

I had some amazing fried rice from this place. Equally impressive was the perfection of the fried egg that survived a timely delivery. They didn't send any chopsticks or napkins, I was staying in a hotel so this was unfortunate. But the food made up for the extra trip to the lobby to get a fork.

Review is for overall years of getting take out from here. #1 I wont be going back after they now charge 3.99% surcharge if you use credit card. #2 food is hit and miss when it comes to consistency. Sometimes meats are over done. #3 Have seen posts about deliveries with food left outside for many hrs on a hot day. #4 heard from people that said many years ago they were shut down for hanging up chickens outside *eww* I still came back for food. It was convenient. Last straw for me is the add on charge for using credit/debit cards. I wont be going back.
