A good place for a reliable meal. Lots of variety and the service was excellent. Our server was also tending bar and serving tables. Reasonable prices and close enough to the Lyric for the evening show.

Stopped in to watch the Ravens game with my brother and we had a great time! I love the TV's at each table, it's a smaller TV but great to have it front and center for you. The good was pretty good, average bar food. The drinks were on happy hour and they were great. It's a cool neighborhood bar and we really enjoyed the vibes for game day! Our server was excellent but I forgot her name but she's always there.

Interesting spot. Came in here to watch a basketball gam while I was in the area. The beers and food were all very well priced. Bartender was a good guy. Very interesting and friendly crowd. Everyone at the bar seemed like either a regular or immediately became friends with each other. Great group of people to chat with. Food was pretty good and can't beat the price. I ended up ordering like 3 different things. Atmosphere is pretty lackluster but that's really the only issue I had.

Walked sat the bar got a menu thrown in my face without speaking. Waited and waited and waited never was offered a drink. Takes a drink of her own cup and walks Into the bathroom. It had been a minute since I have been to turps. On a beautiful bar hopping night, I made it my business to add turps to the line up. We strolled through mount vernon and sat at the booth closest to the door. In true bar hopping fashion my friend and I put in or drink orders and decided on food. Of course I got a few whiskeys and a few green tea drinks. I must say they really missed the mark for the green tea drinks but lucky for them, this was stop number four , so I was already 2 sheets to the wind. Service: our server got all our food correct and brought all our drinks promptly. Food: I am a huge fan of the lobster Mac and cheese. I can't tell you what part of the lobster it is, all I know is that it's a healthy portion for 10 bucks. It's quite delicious too. My friend is now a believer as well. Their pizza Is quite delicious, especially on half price pizza night. The wings aren't too shabby either. All In all it's bar food so you can't expect too much. If you're drinking, it definitely gets the job done. Cleanliness: the bathroom are always pretty filthy. If you are a bar crawler like me, I'd hold it until the next spot. If you bring your own sanitizer, you'll be fine.

I was looking for a good, neighborhood sports bar in downtown Baltimore and definitely found it here. It's not a dive but it also doesn't have that chain-style feel either. It's small, has lots of TVs to watch sports, and enough beer choices to make anyone feel good. As an aside, I arrived at 11:45 am on a Sunday and asked if it was too early to drink. The bartender chuckled and got me a beer. This is my type of location.It's a sports bar, so there's burgers, pizza, sammies, etc. I love fish and chips, and ordered their version. That wasn't a great choice: it was a single battered fillet and some fries. It was just ok. I ended up ordering two Miami Ice cocktails and...felt darned satisfied afterwards. Get that drink but maybe pair it with nachos or something heavy.The service was pretty good, it was clean, and the patrons were locals. I'll be back!

We were walking down Charles Street when we saw this place and looked inside the window. Two guys that were outside said you should try it, the food is good here. One guy worked there and the older gentlemen did not. The older gentleman told us if we didn't like it he would pay for our meal. I'm still unsure if he was serious or not but we went inside. We were greeted right away and told to sit where we liked. The waitress was on top of everything and very friendly. We had the monte cristo, chips, fries, and soup. The food was good. It was not out of this world but I think I will be back because overall this place is decent.
