Good food, good service, decent ambiance. Will be going back. If u are in the area it's worth a try. Also I think are closed on Sundays .

Always happy when I can pass by Tropicana and catch the lunch special. When I first moved to MD I lived closer to this location and enjoyed trying their curry chicken and jerk chicken. I really enjoy how they always pour some of the curry gravy over the rice and peas. I also love the heat on their jerk sauce just right! Sometimes I've gotten vegetables with my meal that hasn't always been consistent but flavors have been. The ambiance is simple and brings me back to Caribbean spots I've eaten at when I lived in New York. I don't need a fancy aesthetic just a good meal and good price point. I haven't had an issue with service ever, the ladies have always been easy to work with and ready to complete my order at the time of service. I did dock a star just for feeling like they have scaled back a bit on the portions but I do also understand inflation. Flavor still hits every time so I'll keep coming back!

NOT EVEN GONNA LIE you just can't go wrong with Tropicana.. I've been going here for about 5 years now and honestly the quality has stayed the same (great) and i even still see some of the same people too! This is the lunch special for $8 !!! For that price you can't beat it , the flavors are all there and the brown stew is just perfect with the rice and peas

The food here is very good. I pick up food for my mom whom is very very particular about her food.. I've been here several times for the lunch special, which is really reasonably priced. My food order is always correct, as well as the food is always hot and fresh. Ordering by phone is a breeze.

Ok, so this was hidden ! When I say DELICIOUS . We ordered curry goat with a side of jerk chicken and we were not disappointed AT ALL. Talk about flavors dancing on our tastebuds. The service was quick and very welcoming. We will be back!

They have one of the best sauces of all time. The jerk chicken sauce is so tasty and has just the right amount of spice if you love spice. Their jerk chicken and brown stew are really good. Their jerk wings are amazing. I just wish they had collard greens.

I am not Jamaican but...IRIE, IRIE! My husband and I came in on Saturday, January 11th to feast on some Curry Chicken and Brown Stew Chicken...I thought I was in Kingston, Jamaica! If you have not tried this place, you should run because it very authentic and taste so good.

I give this place 10 out of 10 if I could, the food is so good. if there isn't any attitude, I don't want it. I'm just kidding that Jamaican food is bomb. You guys eat it. Very service.

Make sure you ask them is the food fresh first because they gave me old oxtails that wouldn't even come off the bone they were so tuff. Food is good when they make it right and they be having attitudes an this lady is the main one who has an attitude she should just work in the back but the food is good when it's made right.
