Towne Tavern & Spirits

We have ate here twice since they have reopen under new the new owners They have done a great job with the renovation. The restaurant is clean & doesn't smell like cigarettes. The decorations/ pictures are very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is very good we had the crab cake dinner and it's one of the best crab cakes I have had. Steam shrimp appetizer which was also great. The second time we had lunch I got the open face meat loaf sandwich which was amazing and my better half got the single crab cake dinner and its was consistent with our first meal. Towne Tavern will be my go to place.

Town Tavern is a local spot where you can have a drink, good eats, and pick up alcohol to go. No one messes with you so having a drink is peaceful here. My Ruben was good. My buddy loved his burger. Nothing outstanding here but it's done right. We were not locals and they treated us like we were. Very friendly. I'd go back for sure. Till next time....

The only reason I'm giving them three stars is because of their amazing food and locals but as far as staff and bartenders talk about extremely rude bartenders play favorites with locals in regulars took me almost half an hour to get a drink and another hour to place a food order and then another hour to get a drink refill but the food was worth it.

Always come here with friends on the weekend evening. It's a good venue for live local music.

Love this place! Definitely a small town bar where everyone knows each other! Good is amazing, drinks are good, and derive is down to earth! 5 stars!

Relatively cheap beers and friendly staff but $21.95 for a single crabcake served with plastic utensils?!?!??! I'll stick with Pappas from now on, lesson learned!

This place is awesome. Some of the best pit beef and crabcakes around. Bartenders are super friendly and the crowd is great.

Neighborhood bar, cold beer nice prices good food...only complaints really no happy hour specials that I know of

Cozy, friendly, cheap. A place where you feel like you are at someone's house. I haven't had the food, but great for drinks. A really casual atmosphere. Local/ old/townie crowd. And live music.

Super rude service. Our large group sat at a table and was told we would have to get up and walk to the bar to order drinks and food. Then when a few of us stood up at the same time to order shots the bartender quickly said "are you going to sit back down? you gotta let me know because i have other customers here that could sit at your table". This place is definitely for an older demographic. Our group was a bit younger and was treated as nuisance even though we were paying customers. If there was a way to give no stars. I would.
