Wow. What a PLACE. What a LOCATION. What amazing FOOD. This was simply a phenomenal experience. I can't believe I've been here for 2 years and no one has talked about this? You have one of the best views of the stunning baltimore sky line. Coming here and seeing the sunset is just dreamy. The ambiance here is the most dreamy location I've been in a long time. It's cozy, it's upscale without being intimidating. And the food is WOW. We got the duck and rock fish and it was stupendous. The charcuterie was stunning. And I couldn't let that octopus sneak past me. When I tell you that octopus was one of the best things I have ever put in my mouth? I have been to MULTIPLE. Michelin star restaurants. And that octopus outshines. It was tender. It was supple. It was charred and delicious. Ugh. I want it again. I truly truly cannot recommend coming here enough. Come have a drink at the bar by yourself if you have to. Come witness this amazing location. You won't regret it.

Brought my fiance here for dinner. Bit of a hassle to get reservations- emailed weeks prior twice but got no response from the restaurant, had to call twice (restaurant doesn't always pick up) and when we arrived they couldn't find our reservation. Thankfully the manager was able to get us a table without a wait. Our waitress was friendly, good service. Restaurant is indoor rooftop at Hotel Revival, nice casual ambience, views of the city. We were seated on the side where we got a good view of the monument (first monument made of George Washington). For apps we ordered the bread basket (focaccia was amazing and the spread comes with two types of butter), Spanish shrimp (jumbo shrimp sits atop a grits cake, has peppers onions sausages), and green salad. All very good. For entrees my fiance has the topside burger which he liked, big portion and comes with a ton of fries. Fries were pretty plain, could use some salt. I had the duck breast which they butter basted and was delicious- had it done medium rare. small portion, great presentation, super tender. Worth checking out if you're staying at the hotel or in the area! Would come back to try other dishes.

Topside was a pre-dinner stop with friends on a cold night.Located at Revival Hotel in the historic Mt. Vernon, the bar space explodes of chatter and smiles, service was warm and conversation was consistent. Although my visit was brief, I appreciate my orders of Manhattan was solid. The views are alluring at sunset.I'll have to update this review after another visit to try their dinner and exclusive cocktails.

The most stunning rooftop with a view of Mount Washington monument. Honestly topside is where I had one of my first happy memories in Baltimore so it kind of pains me to write this review. This review really relates to wine but if you're going to charge $20 for a glass of wine, I need to write this review. I've had a couple bites over the years since 2019 but never had a meal, I usually come for the cocktails and they are solid! I came here the other night to have some wine and I was outraged by the $20 per glass for a Cabernet from California not even a natural wine! The glassware for a $20 does not match, it's that really thick horrible wine glass you never want to drink wine from. Also they served the Cabernet and the Pinot Noir both way too hot. The most decent red was the Bordeaux blend. I was having a good time so we did keep ordering wine, but after seeing the bill, I was not impressed. The service was pretty slow. I kept having to ask for water and it was pretty empty when we went. It's still a really cool ambience, but as a warning. Do not get wine here.

A plot twist!! The crazy part is that I wasn't even excited to go to this place at first. I started the night out with a cocktail and I wasn't a huge fan. It was floral and it tasted like quality ingredients, but it just wasn't for me. Then we started ordering food. First was the bread board...Wow!! The bread! The butter!! I cannot rave enough about the butter!!! Wow! It went from strength to strength from there. And I'm telling you...that is the best burger I've had in my life. Those fries were the perfect amount of crispy and soft. The octopus was decent, but I wasn't obsessed. Regardless this is some very nice dining. The service was top-tier! And the food came out so quickly. The aesthetics were beautiful. I love when a place has quality food that lives up to their aesthetics!

This place is awesome for any occasion. The food was beautiful and so delicious all while the view takes your breath away! I will be back and I will be telling all my friends about this place, please give it a try if you have not already! Server was very attentive and very nice when helping decide what to eat out of all the delicious options.

Pretty damn pricy for a hotel restaurant and with small portions. $19 for simple cocktail. Nice views at least.

Topside is a fun restaurant/bar overlooking the city. I came here for my birthday and really enjoyed my time. I got a burger and fries which came out promptly and was delicious! Their drinks are also very cute and tasty! The checkered flooring makes for a fun and upbeat environment. There are lots of events that happen here so make sure to check ahead that they will be open if you are just popping in!

Topside is one of the city's staples, thanks to the charming views of the monument & surrounding parks. The service/attitude here is a bit of a hit or miss--nothing too bad, but there have been times when things felt awkward with random comments from the host/servers. Just keep in mind that the monument view is only possible from one side of the restaurant (make sure you tell the host if you are there for the views). The atmosphere is quite nice and has an upscale feel. Their small plates and cocktails make a great combination--I prefer those over their entrees. Worth a visit for the views & atmosphere.

This was our 2nd Valentines restaurant backup. 1st restaurant couldn't accommodate. Been here through an invite to the hotel for community engagement for nonprofits. Loved the view. We didn't have reservations but they accommodate us at the bar. Mom had short rib, w pomme puree/carrots nice signature dish, I had tagliatelle wo mushrooms and gruyere sauce. Dinner and family were great.Met the food& beverage director great guy. That had a presence of excellence and all the bar staff were on point w food allergies, meal suggestions, professionalism and attentiveness.
