Good food: the ramen is super flavorful. Soup (I had original/classic one) was thick and creamy. You can tell they must have boiled it for hours for the soup to look like that and very umami. The egg is noodle is perfectly processed-- melted egg yolk, so tender.Service is wonderful. They check on us frequently, asking if we need anything or add more order. Very nice and kind. When we order they didn't bring a booklet but simply remembered our order. Apparently they know their business very well.Ambience is good too. There are not many tables, but each with enough space in between to keep conversation private. Cocktail (gin with yuzu, and peppercorn) was awesome. I like how slightly bitter it was. But very strong aroma of the yuzu. I enjoyed a lot.

Came on a Friday night - I would've loved to make reservations but the website only showed we reservations in DC and didn't allow me to change the location. I asked about this at the host stand and they had no explanation, I guess maybe try to call because it was packed. Luckily my husband and I were able to get bar seats. We got the Brussels sprouts to split which were SO good! Loved the mayo and fish flakes, they were sweet and crunchy. Definitely would recommend these. For entrees I got the Tokyo Curry Chicken Ramen and my husband got the Garlic Tonkotsu with Pork. Mine was excellent - the chicken was somehow still crispy even sitting in the broth. The broth itself was the star - super flavorful, sweet and spicy. Also loved the noodles and the soft boiled egg! My husbands was just ok - the pork was sort of mushy and tasteless.Service was friendly, quick, and they explained their dishes. We were in and out in about an hour. Next time I would get a reservation, I just don't totally know. Additionally, the location is definitely sketchy, not somewhere you want to walk too far so be mindful when parking and leaving any valuables in your car. Overall, I'd love to return to try some of the buns and other dishes. It is a small restaurant with mostly bar stool/high top seating which is uncomfortable for long periods, so pretty much somewhere just to eat and leave, not hang out. Keep that in mind if you want a nice night out with friends!

Food: dumplings, fried chicken buns and kimchi ramen are my faves. Drinks: great variety of sake available. Cocktails are interesting, some hit or miss for me. Service: very fast and friendly Ambiance: the main dining room is cute and cozy, the secondary one is a bit less friendly and the temperature in the winter fluctuates greatly from one end of the room (super hot) to the other near the doors (frigid)

A proper Ramen bar. I'm not sure what else needs to be said. I sat the edge of the bar. I ordered a Toki Classic. I ate it with gusto. Quickly, but enjoying everything. I finished quickly. A pair of what I'm guessing were undergrad girls talking next to me as the Super Bowl went on without any televisions to mark it. The food was excellent, the environment was oblivious and stellar. I will probably be back.

We went to Toki Underground on a random Wednesday. It was quiet and lowkey. We sat at the bar where you can watch the chef cook and the bartender craft your drink. It was such a vibe. There's an outside patio where I'm sure is delightful to sit out on during perfect weather days. I ordered the Toki classic ramen and tried the fried chicken steam buns. I love that the steam buns came deconstructed and you could build them up to your liking.

Everything about this experience was good from start to finish. My group received a warm welcome when we arrived and we were seated at a great table. I had one of the sakes as my drink, and we split the shrimp and chicken appetizers. I chose the mushroom ramen as my main entree.Overall, ALL the food I was able to sample was amazing. Truly impressed with the food and highly recommend Toki Underground.

The food was great and didn't disappoint. With how much this place was hyped I expected they're to be a wait. Thankfully it was full but no wait. The service was fast within a few minutes the server had come over and taken the drink and starter orders. I had the maple beer wings which were a delicious start. I would say this app was enough for me but not for sharing. The maple came through and were fried perfectly. Would recommend. I had the toki classic ramen for the entree. Again, toki underground nailed it. Getting all the notes right. Decent serving of noodles and meat. It left a little bit of am aftertaste which was peculiar but maybe I was just imagining it. The decor was unique with rotating skate decks on the ceiling. At the end, I checked in with yelp to score some free stickers. So beautiful, so creative.

Finally! An awesome ramen place in Baltimore has finally opened. Toki not only has delicious, slurp-able ramen but also has a wide array of mouthwatering appetizers. My friend and I went for New Year's Day lunch and indulged on the brussel sprouts, pickle plate, kimchi, pork potstickers, and the shrimp bao buns. The appetizers were all amazing except for the potstickers which came out cold and crunchy to the point of almost stale. Kind of disappointing but not a huge deal, since everything else was pretty on point. I tried the lobster ramen which rich, creamy with a soft boiled egg. Hands down the best ramen in Maryland! The service was great, everything came out super fast and we loved the ambiance inside!!

TIP: UBER HERE. The block that surrounds this location is very rough. We didn't have any issue - but if you're sensitive to this - you may want to be dropped off.We ordered a couple starters: bao buns (which came deconstructed) and I wasn't sure I liked it this way - especially when there's no knives to apply ingredients. The ramen was good - but with everything a la carte things added up quickly.
