Tijuana Tacos VI

Tacos that will have your mouth excuted for more!!! This was my first time actually sitting in And let me just tell you it was worth it! There's not a waiter however when you come in find a seat walk up to the counter place your order and wants it's ready they will bring it to your table. While you are waiting you get fresh made chips and 2 salsa dips. 1 red 1 green they are both fabulous but beware Of the heat in the red one ... Now to me it was perfect for the chip mixed with the green salsa and on top of my taco. But for others it may be too much. It's a small maybe family owned taco restaurant not much seating at all probably about 4 tables but you definitely feel welcome. I had the chicken tacos seasoned to perfection onions were so fresh the perfect amount of cilantro and the tortilla itself was fresh and hot. I ordered 2 tacos but it was more like 4 because they were Robust in size and once the filling fell out a little as I was eating I just prepared an additional taco with one of the layered tortillas. My guy loves Carne Asada tacos, and I could tell by the look of the meat that it was going to be flavourful!! We were not disappointed at all. And not to mention the horchata was absolutely perfect I have not had one made this particular way it was absolutely delicious we will be back every time we are in the area!

Been meaning to try this place for a while and I'm glad we did. We ordered chips and guacamole, tacos, and a steak chimichanga. The guacamole was smoother with a blended texture and very tasty. The steak chimichanga came smothered in a choice of either salsa verde or rojo. I picked the verde and that also was very good. I expected the tortilla on the chimichanga to be fried so was surprised when it wasn't, but it was tasty anyway so no harm done. My friend said their tacos were authentic, with the favorite being the carnitas. They have a variety of sodas and other drinks in their refrigerator case that looked interesting. I got a Vietnamese mango drink called Oh Fresh which was good.

The food is top tier. I drove 30 min to grab some tacos! The staff is always warm attentive and sweet. The space is laid back. You can eat in or take to go. We traditionally take our food to go. And it is always tasty and on point!

It's been many years since we been back here. Food is mediocre. Very low quality cheese & meats.

So glad I finally tried Tijuana Tacos because their food was BOMB! I'd say top 5 best tacos I've had in the area thus far Here's everything my bf & I got:3 different tacos ($13.99): we got carne asada, al pastor, and chorizo. These were the highlight of the meal for sure. The tortillas were delicious, and the meat was so flavorful. Also LOVED the salsas that came with - both the verde and roja packed some nice heat!One Sope & Tostada ($4.50 each) and topped with beans, lettuce, tomato, onion and sour cream! These weren't our favorite but they were still good - definitely better with the salsas.Milanese de Pollo Torta ($11.99) - the bread was nice and soft, and this was tasty but again, the tacos were the highlight for sure!Additional Notes I don't know about takeout, but for dine-in, they give you complimentary chips! REALLY crispy and yum.In addition to the more standard proteins, they also offer tripa, cabeza, buche, and more.They have lots of Mexican soda flavors to choose from! I def saw some drinks I've never seen before - will have to try next time.PRO TIP: they're located like 8 min away from Ann's Dari-Creme so stop by after to get soft serve for dessert. So let me start off by saying that I'm originally from Cali and I'm Mexican, so it's safe to say food isn't that great out here on the East cost, especially when it comes to Mexican food. But TJ tacos? Blown away! Felt like I was back home! Their portions are huge too. A bit pricey and may take a little while to get your food, but it's worth it. Thats our once a month little treat. I usually order the chimichanga with carnitas and salsa verde, love it!

Although I'm not Mexican, I am Hispanic and their tacos tasted as authentic as you can get in the US. I got the carnitas, carne asada, and Al pastor sopes and they were SO good!! My brother got 3 tacos de pollo and he finished them up like there was no tomorrow. We also got two Sandia aguas frescas and they were 10000/10. I'm not even kidding, if you're not getting anything to eat, try that agua fresca because no juice or soda could ever compare to it. The service was also good there, they were friendly and the food came out pretty fast. The place has a really nice atmosphere. There's some parking outside of the restaurant too which is nice. All in all, 10/10 would recommend.

After watch Street Food US edition on Netflix, I had an interest in getting some carnita tacos. I had hear this place was good but never got around to trying them out. They didn't disappoint! I added tomato and lettuce to the tacos with made them a bit bulky. Next time I'll just have them with the cilantro that comes with it. The tacos were so flavorful. I ordered rice and beans with it as well. I must have been hungry because I couldn't finish all of it even though I wanted to. Five Stars!!! Will go back!

Don't judge a book by its cover - this unassuming little shop on a busy road is an absolute taco gem! I happened to pass by it while running some errands and just had to try it. Ordered tacos to go and was so impressed! The portion of meat inside each taco is fantastic, the flavoring on the meat is equally fantastic, and the staff here is so nice! I came back with a group after raving about the tacos to them, and all agreed that these tacos will not let you down. Don't pass this place up!

The carne asada is fine and the tacos are decent but the reviews saying it's like San Diego are so, so wrong.
