My wife surprised me to dinner at the Ruxton for my 30th birthday and It was a beautiful experience. The ambiance was elegant and clean for a grown man like myself. I was welcomed to a happy birthday card and guided to my seat. Our waiter was friendly and shared his recommendations and how to order. We ordered for appetizer the chargrilled oysters which were absolutely delicious. Very buttery and seasoned well with salt and herbs. My wife ordered the brick chicken and I ordered the lamb chops with a side of herb waffle fries and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was delicious we kept scooping more and the waffle fries were one of the best I've had. It was almost chippy but still had a French fry consistency.

Amazing evening at The Ruxton for Valentine's Day. It's a romantic vibe with a great music playlist if you listen up. Our server was nice and knowledgeable about the menu. The dinner started with complimentary bread topped with what I think was a garlic butter. I ordered the branzino--it was delicious. I wasn't crazy about the pine nuts (it may be a texture thing for me) but the pomegranate was a nice touch. My boyfriend ordered the sea bass--it was very flavorful. The sides are a la carte and made for sharing; we ordered the broccoli, mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. All three were delicious. Do not skip the warm butter cake for dessert!!!

Ruxton in Baltimore's Harbor East is a true gem! From the moment we arrived, the experience was top-tier. The valet service was seamless, parking us right up front, and our parking was validated after the meal--an added bonus! As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Jerome, the manager, who ensured we were seated promptly. The hospitality here is unmatched! Our server, Deremetius, was phenomenal--attentive, efficient, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.Food & Drinks: 10/10 * Drinks: Lemon Drop & Red Blend Wine--both perfectly crafted. * Appetizers: Lobster Bisque (rich and flavorful) & Charbroiled Oysters (absolutely delicious). * Entrées: Gold Label Steak (cooked to perfection) & Surf and Turf with Truffle Butter (next level). * Sides: Lobster Mac & Cheese and Broccoli--both were excellent. * Dessert: Butter Cake & Cappuccino--an indulgent and perfect ending to our meal. The ambiance is stunning, whether you're dining in the main area or at the bar. It's elegant, inviting, and sets the perfect mood for a date night, ladies' night, or a special celebration. If you're looking for a beautiful setting, impeccable service, and an unforgettable dining experience, Ruxton is a must-visit!

Fourth time coming back here. This time I sat at the bar. Dan and Valerie were amazing bartenders, who whipped me up a cocktail in no time. Valerie made an amazing Cheeky Devil cocktail ($20), which has sharp notes from the cognac and champagne paired with the softness of earl grey and vanilla. I also got a Stiletto ($19), that was more on the sweeter side. It had passion fruit, lillet blanc, and vodka. The service was wonderful. Dan had greeted me and gave me water as soon as I sat down. The bar was kept nice and pristine. The chandelier really added to the upscale vibes!

Decided to treat myself to a nice steak dinner for making it through the week but was pleasantly surprised to find out they were running a promotion from Jan 17-26 (prix fixe $60 pp). It supports @TasteWise Kids, which is a non-profit that offers Maryland kids fun ways to learn about food and positive/healthy eating habits. My plan was to always walk in at sit at the bar. Their main bar was packed but they had a secondary bar to the side (I hadn't noticed before) that is also apart of their bar seating, that was available, so I sat there. A bartender came up to me pretty quickly and brought me menus and then she told me about their Dine to Donate Prix fixe menu, and I was like bet! I'm doing that lol. I've been to The Ruxton before but only had wine, cocktail shrimp, and waygu sliders. This was my first time having a full meal and it didn't disappoint. Everything was delicious. I was happy cutting into my steak seeing they prepared it to my liking. It tasted great and tasted even better as leftovers . The Mac and cheese was good too but I do wish I realized how big it was because then I probably wouldn't have ordered it since I went by myself. The tater tots and caviar was tasty. I kind of always want my tater tots to taste like that from now on lol! For a busy night, the service wasn't bad. The ambiance is beautiful as well. Valet was $15 and I love that you can have them add it to your tab, never seen that before, but I like that. The only con of the evening was their mocktails prices. I didn't need to order it of course but regardless of how nice a restaurant is, $17 for a mocktail is odd to me, but hey I decided to order it. It tasted okay but could have been sweeter (personal preference).

I went to the Ruxton for my birthday and had an amazing time. We ubered so I can't speak on parking, but I know they have valet if it's a major concern. Everyone was super nice when I arrived. We were seated pretty quickly in a very nice dining area. A lot of food was ordered. The risotto and mac and cheese were the highlights in my opinion. The bread with the bacon butter was also a plus. The best part of the my dinner was the server. When I go back, and I will be going back, if it's not her, I'm leaving. For security purposes, I won't disclose her name however as long as she is there, I am too. She took such great care of my friends and family. The food was great minus the steak, sorry guys, but everything else was delicious. My dad raved about the duck too. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

I went for a girls day birthday dinner. This was a lovely experience. When we checked in, they told the birthday girl happy birthday. When we got to the table they gave her a birthday card. The staff was SO attentive! She went over the menu very thoroughly, and was very patient with our group's questions. Her suggestions were also on point. There were many of us that were undecided on many items we described to her what we were looking for and she recommended the most perfect suggestions. Orders (that I had/tasted) Drinks - Red Daisy - perfect fruity and Smokey cocktail (has mezcal, so if not a fan, I would stay away. I personally love mezcal) Appetizers- Ruxton Ceviche - so fresh and tasty. If cautious of spice, it does have some peppers. I do wish there was some type of chip/or plantain crisp, or something of the sort that came with it. BUT even without this element, it was absolutely delicious. Many of my friends never had ceviche before and also really enjoyed it. - Chargrilled Oysters - yummy! I'm not usually an oysters girly, but I loved. - Caesar Salad - very generous portion, a good size to share Entree:Brick Oven Chicken - so yummy! It was juicy but was also crispy and flavorful, and not dry. Crab & Shrimp Risotto - also delicious. Very creamy but also had a citrusy element that took it to the next level. Also a very hearty & generous portion! I had lunch for the next day. Overall a great time, and they went out of there way to make the birthday girl feel special which we appreciated. All of the food was delicious and happy to report, considering the price points. I would return for a special occasion or date night! The atmosphere is dim and romantic. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. Valet is cheaper than the garage btw and you can just check out with your table server.

Second visit much better than the first. Took my man here for his birthday. Our server Wendy was so pleasant! Loved her. I ordered the double crab cake, Caesar salad, lychee martini. He ordered lobster bisque and 10 oz filet mignon. Everything was superb! We shared the butter cake for dessert which was amazing. I want to go back just to order that It was a nice touch that the Ruxton had a birthday card on the table upon our arrival. They also brought out some funfetti cake with a candle in it. That was a nice touch. Sucks that the speak easy was closed for a private event. Maybe next time. I sat in the main dining room this time which was beautiful. I loved the music they played too (90s/2000s r&b). I hope I didn't disturb my food neighbors with my singing :-)
