The Rowan Tree

This excellent dive bar in South Baltimore. The bartender was super friendly and the drinks were dirt cheap. On Fridays and Saturdays, they have karaoke. Let me tell you that this was the most supportive group of karaoke attendees I've ever encountered. It was like something out of a movie with everyone cheering and filling in the blanks when performers were stumbling. I'll definitely come back!

Chill dive. Strong drinks. Pool table and old couches. Older crowd. People were either friendly or kept to themselves.

We stopped in for an afternoon drink. It was empty but the manager Red was nice and made us feel welcome! Although, we were the only ones in there it seems like a good place to return.

Although I'm not won of da' koolkidz of sous' bmore, I simply must say that I enjoyed playing Zone Fault here. The rules are sumpin' (1) Be prepared. (2) COPE.

Cheap drinks and a very lively, judgement-free karaoke on the weekends. Would honestly recommend to anyone interested in just hanging with a fun crowd.

Wonderfully inclusive...friendly staff and reasonably priced! Parking is a bit tricky, but is www worth it! My friends snd I had a great time!!

I love the vibe and people at this bar. I've met some great people and made new friends. They always have a free pool table at the end. They also have free parking about two blocks away at the Thomas Johnson school, which is great considering it's location. You just need to stop by the bar first to pick up a parking pass from the bartender. Reds, the manager, is incredibly nice and makes a really good rum punch!! Sara & Megan are great bartenders as well! Karaoke is also always fun on Friday & Saturday.

Spent our Saturday night here this last weekend, and it's a great little hidden gem with a great regular crew that is very welcoming. The staff (EJ, Roberto, Shawna) were amazing and the drinks were delicious - and Steve the owner is just so nice and welcoming and funny!Traveling a lot around the country/globe - this is one of my favorite spots after we enjoyed some of the best karaoke ever! The crowd is encouraging and fun, and I have so many stories and new friends from our visit!Can't wait to see them all again later this week before we leave Baltimore! Will miss them!
