When I crave a satisfying hot soup when at work, Red Boat is my go-to for their Tom Yum Pho. I love that it's vegetarian but still hearty. I used to be more plant based, but even now that I eat meat again, I still find this dish to be perfect on its own! I've had the kimchi fries twice now, which is a guilty pleasure, but even with them taking measures to keep the fries from getting soggy in transit, the texture is still off. I look forward to giving them a try in the restaurant! We also tried the shrimp rolls and rice vermicelli with shrimp, which were also very nice. Highly recommend and I'll hopefully dine in soon!

I had the shrimp pho and matcha boba tea and my significant other had the Tom Yum pho. The shrimp pho had plenty of shrimp and the broth was quite good. My significant other enjoyed his Tom Yum soup. This isn't your typical restaurant. You pay first and then they bring you your food. The ambiance is simple, nothing too fancy. We picked the Red Boat Asian Fusion because it was across the street from the Hippodrome. I didn't get a picture but trust me the pho was delicious.

Friendly & welcoming environment. The Pho broth was delicious. Was able to get a Combination pho with eye round, meatball & brisket. It's not on the menu but they do offer it. Also got an order of cha gio aka fried spring rolls. They were delicious and fresh.

I only chose this place because it was super close to my hotel, that's it. The service was meh, it just wasn't anything better than ok. The place was not very clean either. After those two things, I thought, "great, the food will be outstanding!" If the service and cleanliness are crap, the food HAS to be good. Nope. The phô tai was bland and there is no spice rack to make it better. They just give you rooster sauce. There have to be better pho spots in Charm City, right?

So happy I finally tried Red Boat Asian Fusion! I was feeling under the weather and craving pho, so decided to order online from here for pickup since I was close by. I got the rare eye round steak pho with extra veggies --it was everything I was craving and more! The broth is sooo flavorful, rich and not too sweet. The extra veggies made it an especially hearty meal. The noodles, toppings, and broth were also all packaged separately and with great care. I loved the pho and would absolutely come back to try other items on the menu! The location makes this a great lunch spot for those working downtown, although the interior isn't all that inviting in my opinion. I personally would prefer to order out than dine in here, from the looks of the restaurant. Additionally, the one complaint I have is that the prices listed on the website are not up to date. The actual menu prices are more expensive, so I was surprised by my total when I paid in person. I also got the impression that they don't start preparing your order until you're there in person, so if you're looking for a speedy pickup, it might take longer than you'd expect. Other than that, I had a great visit and will definitely order again!

The place and appearance of the food does not look as appealing but tasted decent. I ordered the Korean bulgogi wrap and the Mango boba tea with Mango pop. Price was reasonable. Service was fast.

Stopped in last night (9/26) before a show at the Hippodrome. TBH, I was more interested in going to the kabob place on Baltimore St, but it was packed in there. Red Boat seems like a good overflow place.Ordering was simple for me. I went with the bun dish with grilled pork. Payment was easy too.The individual tables were all taken so I sat at a large high top table with open seating. The table was pretty gross and I had to wipe down the surface while I waited for my food. The food was delivered to my table and I dug in. The bun was decent but different than bun I have at regular pho places. Wasn't a fan of the big pieces of pork, I've never had to pick the basil leaves off the stem before, and I've had better fish sauce, but I was hungry and I ate everything.Would be interested to return another time and try some other menu items, hopefully update this review.

We came here because it was close to the hospital.Short version of the review: the pho was overpriced, over seasoned, forced 18% gratuities with no service (with a party more than 4), and I would NOT recommend Red Boat. Pho Menu: The pho selection was very disappointing as it was 1 meat per pho bowl and no pho with a combination of meats. The guy at the register offered a combo off the menu but wanted $20 - NO thanks! Their Pho choices were expensive with one bowl-size offering.Forced Gratuity: We ordered 5 bowls of pho all beef rounds. AFTER swiping the credit card, then he said there was a minimum gratuity of 18%! He pointed at a sign that was easily missed in the front register. Unfortunately I was at his mercy, if we didn't pay the forced gratuity then they could reduce the food quantity OR do something to the food. When we walked into the restaurant, he gestured for us to come to the side register but there was NO 18% gratuity sign. TRICKY!!! He said he'll bring us the pho. So they determine gratuity before service is performed which was non-existent.Service: Service was like Chic Fil A style for dine-in. You order at the register and they bring the food to you. NOT worthy of 18%. ALL THEY DID WAS BRING THE FOOD TO US. At least Chic Fil A walks around and asks for refills and how's everything. Taste: Pho was the most disappointing pho we ever ate and possibly the most expensive. The size was equal to small bowl when compared to other pho restaurants. The bowls were inconsistent like they couldn't afford the bowls (see pic). The garnish was very little, small pieces of protein, maybe 5 thin slices of beef round. The broth was heavily seasoned like a ramen noodle but with pho flavor. The broth had very little taste of bone broth. You only would get the rich taste of bone when simmering the broth with beef bone for long hours which they didn't have. My party of Viets all agree this pho place was terrible. Definitely would not come here again for the pho especially when they force us to pay gratuity for NON-EXISTENT SERVICE. Not coming back for pho.

I love their pho, very tasty broth. I haven't had it in a while and can't remember but I don't think it comes with tripe, and I wish it did. Kimchi fries are delicious and crispy, and the shrimp summer rolls are really good as well. Their Thai tea is pricy ($6.50) but I think it's because it's one of the few places in the area to serve it. I would definitely try other items on the menu because I haven't been disappointed by anything I've tried. I haven't dined in so I'm not sure about the ambiance, but it's not very attractive inside (which I don't mind, I care for the food). There is however another portion of the restaurant that has more space for dine in customers and it might be nicer than the area where you order or pickup food. Service can be a little slow (but not terribly so) if they're busy (they seem to get a lot of delivery orders) but is friendly
