Fine dining. Definitely not a place to frequent but if you want to treat yourself to a luxurious dinner once in a while it's great. Had a date night here on a Saturday. I made reservations in advance so I would be sure to have a table. I have heard they can get busy. Online it says that a suit jacket is required but when I arrived I saw people wearing regular street clothes. It's been dimly lit inside so great to set the mood. It was very busy with all the tables occupied so I was glad to have made a reservation. The waitress was excellent. She took our drink orders and gave us the specials of the day. I just wanted a bowl of French onion soup. For a beverage I wanted the smoked old fashioned. The presentation of the drink was awesome. They smoke it table side. Hey give you a large bread basket to start off with as well. All of the side are a la cart but are very large and more than enough to be shared among 2-3 people. For my main I had the Maryland crab cakes. It came with two large crab cakes. A little on the bland side but they did come with remoulade sauce for a little added flavor. We had some crab imperial topping for the steak that was much more flavorful. The steak was gigantic that my date had. It was way more than enough for one person to finish off. You pay a premium for dining here but you will definitely get your moneys worth. I was so full I didn't even have any room for dessert. Overall it was a great dinner and I couldn't find a single thing to dislike.

If you're looking for a spot that can accommodate a large group, Prime Rev is a solid choice. Both of my recent visits were for birthday celebrations, and getting a table for 12+ was no problem at all. They had plenty of seating, and we easily secured our desired time slot--definitely a plus for group dining!Given the name, I had high expectations for the prime rib, but it was just okay. It wasn't bad, but it didn't have that melt-in-your-mouth, deeply flavorful experience I was hoping for. The scallop and shrimp add-ons were actually more impressive, and I found myself enjoying those more than the main dish. The au jus didn't quite hit the mark either--I wanted to soak my meat in it, but it lacked that addictive richness that keeps you coming back for more. The sides were hit or miss. Some, especially the greens, were overcooked. We didn't bother complaining since we were hungry and enjoying the company, but I have a feeling they would have replaced them if we had asked.Ambiance? 5/5. The restaurant has a romantic, upscale vibe, perfect for a date night. They also have private rooms for large, important business meetings, which adds to the appeal.Overall, it's a good spot, especially for big groups and special occasions. The food isn't mind-blowing, but the atmosphere and service make up for it. Would I come back? Probably, but I'd explore the menu a bit more next time.

Stopped in for their happy hour and that this place was extremely cute. I stayed for Happy Hour and ordered the mini crab cakes...can you say deliciousness?!?! I mean every bite. They were stuffed with all crab meat and flavorful; small but filling. They were plated with a cream sauce and grilled lemon. Here's the kicker....their Happy Hour Specials were half off so I only paid $9 for that appetizer!!! WINNING You can access this restaurant through the MD Live Casino (via Arundel Mills Mall) or use the main entrance and park on the Casino's lot.Unfortunately, I must add that Toy the server/bartender did not embrace me with good customer service. She was short, unfriendly and almost completely ignored me. However, Hashim was much more pleasant, although not my server, he helped me as much ad he could, even sharing a story about how his name originated.I was actually checking the place out to bring a large party there but I'm seriously reconsidering now.

Jonathan F. At The Prime Rib was so attentive and knowledgeable about any questions we asked. His service, I would classify as Three Michelin Star status. Kim, was also very attentive and I highly recommend The Prime Rib. It's an experience that must be lived at least once.

My daughter and I dined here on Christmas Day. We love high end restaurants and we dine for more than the taste of the food, but for the full experience. The Prime Rib at Maryland Live failed us on the experience. I had the lobster imperial and she had a 16oz prime rib, we split a Caesar salad and the truffle Mac and cheese. For drinks, I had the seasonal sangria and my daughter had an old fashion made with tequila. The Caesar salad, table bread & butter, and drinks were good and the service was quick. When our entree's arrived, I noticed the fat on my daughter's prime rib looked like it had not been rendered and I asked if her prime rib was cold - she touched it and said yes. My lobster imperial was also cool, yet warmer inside, but my lobster was grossly overcooked and rubbery. But the worst part was my daughter's prime rib. It was indeed cold and the manager came over to see if she wanted it heated. She asked him to put it in the microwave for one minute. When he returned and gave her the "heated" prime rib, he let us know that he personally put it on the grill (like it was a ribeye) and the prime rib looked atrocious. It was seared like a ribeye and was dry and a terribly ruined great piece of meat. We commented on the fact that it was seared hard and his only question was, "is it warm in the middle?" Huh? He seemed really proud of himself, kinda of like Ben Stiller in Meet the Parents when he arrived with the fake jinksy. Regardless, he offered to give us a complimentary dessert, which we declined. The server came over and saw the catastrophe and said, "awww, he tried."I'm not sure if these people even understand what the issue was or that we're paying for this meal and expect quality food and service. In the end, we declined the dessert offer, tipped the server $50 on top of the $263 bill and vowed we'd never return. We will stick with Atlas restaurants. You can never go wrong w/the food & service.

Tucked inside of Live! Casino & Hotel, the Prime Rib specializes in grilling up delicious steaks. Our party enjoyed the filet, rib-eye, surf n' turf special and the Chilean sea bass..... along with an assortment of salads and bread. Everything was delicious. The steaks were charred on the outside and cooked to the perfect temperature on the inside. It was a tad on the pricy side, but hey!.....everything when at a casino is on the pricey side. lol. The atmosphere and vibe was chill....somewhat on the casual-dress side but still fun. The service was on point and prompt! No issues in that areas for sure. In all, very enjoyable experience and a great time had. I can hear for a bday occasion and will certainly come back for another special occasion or the dining experience!

Visited this restaurant for their summer wine series. It was a very intimate setting on their enclosed patio area. Service was spectacular, as soon as you were finished the glass or a plate, someone was right there assisting to clear your space. As for the food, you could not, go wrong with anything on the menu. I particularly loved the rockfish .I am looking forward to returning and trying the regular dinner and or lunch menu.

Wow. This may have been the best steak I've ever had... like ever. The Prime Rib at Live! is a high-end steakhouse with a large-scale bar room and seating area. At first, I was personally a bit intimidated by the restaurant's overwhelming class. The ambience, composed of jazzy music, dim lighting, and a darker color scheme brings a type of elegance yet strength to the atmosphere of the restaurant, accompanied by mildly loud chatting. The service was amazing--the waiter constantly came back and refilled drinks for me and my companions as if he was psychic and knew when we needed refills. Starting with appetizers: The scallop potatoes were absolutely amazing. It was around 10 layers of potato, cooked to perfection. The calamari was okay. It had a nice pair of sauces but didn't really come out as crunchy and crispy as I hoped for. Entrées: The signature cut of prime rib had me in a chokehold!!!! It was cooked with a perfect brown crust and impeccable pink center, juicy, tender, fatty, yet chewy and lean. I could rant all day about this steak. It basically ruined my steak experience so I can't eat steak if it's not from here. Sorry!P.S. Get the prime rib. Get the prime rib. Get the prime rib.
