The New White Swan

I've been to many restaurants in this area, several on the water and this spot has better food than any of them! It's basically a bar with a dining room attached. My husband and I decided to give this spot a try because of the good reviews, it didn't disappoint.We were waited on quickly, they handed us menus and showed us there is a board of specials. I ordered the fried shrimp with two sides, everything was cooked perfectly and nicely seasoned. My husband got the Steam shrimp with potatoes and onions and the portion was perfect, cooked well, and easy to peel. I just kept saying I couldn't believe we didn't try this place sooner!Server is very attentive and refilled our drinks whenever it was getting low, kept asking if we needed anything. The prices are excellent! This place is a great spot to eat and I highly recommend it.

Nice. Clean. Bathroom was in excellent condition and very clean. Very is good and consistent. There is nothing I like better than to patronize local business - NO CHAINS for me. My only gripe with The New White Swan is that they have some cheeky customers who like to hang half way in and half way out the door while SMOKING! bLEH! Can management ask them to smoke elsewhere in a designated spot?

I Like this dilapidated neighborhood bar. Food is great, consistently so. Bar drinks excellent for the price. People are friendly and entertaining; local gossip is rampant You won't be disappointed, overall, a convenient locale with tasty food well priced. However, a new coat of paint and a better parking lot would improve its overall rustic charm.

Food is great! Service is always awesome. Good place to eat and hang out! Keno there always works so that's a plus! Would recommend for sure

We live on the Island and this is our twice a week go to dinner spot! We love the food so much! All homemade fresh and delicious, large portions and wonderful service! If you have not yet do yourself a favor and get the stuffed shrimp(tons of shrimp and loaded with crab lumps enough for 2!), stuffed mushrooms, my favorite app add one of their signature Caesar salads topped with bacon and fresh musrooms(both optional) and it's a meal! , the pizza is our favorite around town(tons of cheese, awesome sauce and on a thin crispy crust like a old school roller rink pizza but better), cheesesteak sub(massive and meat is full of flavor and no gristle) french fries with gravy(krinkel cut and so crispy) and a crab cake platter 2 massive cakes loaded with lumps! The New White Swan is so good you wont be disappointed! All their meals are Huge and full of and very tasty! The picture doesnt do it justice! Thank you Brian and Dottie for another delicious dinner!
