The Market At River Falls

I will be coming back here for lunch every day! I was so excited to have every combination of food for my lunch choices, the Market has fresh meat, veggies and everything in-between. I loved the Caesar pasta salad and this is the best crab cake around. There is always someone to help you and let you try a sample if you're unsure. I appreciate the location/ambiance with plenty of places to eat outside. It's the perfect place to grab lunch at work or bring dinner home to avoid cooking in the evenings.

I always cheat and pick up crab cakes from here (shhh don't tell!). My husband is a local, born and raised, and stopped complaining about my crab cakes after I found this spot. Got his whole family fooled! For now lol!

Looks really tiny from the outside, but it opens up into a decently-sized shop. I love the pints of Sprinkles ice cream in the freezer, although they are a bit pricey at nearly ~$8. I also tried the crab cake, which was a good size. It's a solid cake with minimal filler. The best part though is the tartar sauce! It's a light orange-ish color and I'm not sure what's exactly in it, but it's so much tastier than regular tartar sauce.

For the second time in a month, I was sick after eating TURNED chicken salad last night!!Absolutely DISGUSTING AND INEXCUSABLE.I checked reviews here and because it's the week after ANOTHER REVIEW addressing this, I knew I needed to add mine. Chicken salad should NOT taste tangy and I am really tired of this from an upscale market. Someone is not testing their packaged deli offerings and this is HORRIBLE. Last time, a month ago, I was so ill that I needed an intestinal MRI!! THIS IS NO JOKE AND CANNOT...MUST NOT HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE!! UNFORGIVABLE AT THE PRICES. DISGUSTING. SAMPLE YOUR CONTAINER BEFORE LEAVING THE PREMISES.

Just purchased a One Pound order of fresh COD that I personally picked from the glass display case for $34. I asked them to make it a Fish and Chips special Order.It was god awful. They simply took the one pound of COD split it in two and breaded it on One side. and sold it to me like that. Didn't include tarter sauce or offer me any.The COD batter was under cooked and you could literally taste the raw gooey flower. When you picked the COD up from the tin foil container it simply fell apart. When, I called to complain the girl said that's the way they do it and that she packed it herself. so she knew it was right. Really??? Have you ever had fish and chips in a half pound portion that was under cooked and battered on one side only??The girl simply offered no apology and stood by the fact that it was supposed to be under cooked in half pound pieces.Will never go there again. Such a rip-off

We've been going here since it first opened with the previous owner and stop in at least once a week. The food is delicious and you can easily put together a restaurant quality meal for your dinner. As everyone said, the crab cakes are delicious but so are all the sides, dips, soups, fresh seafood, etc. I find the service to be top notch, I never wait long for someone to serve me efficiently and with a friendly manner. I've also used their catering menu many times to serve larger groups as well as Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners & it's always terrific. Yes, it's expensive but you get what you pay for.

The market has Great products Nice people and very consistent I highly recommend this market
