There's nothing like the pleasure of walking a few blocks from your home to stop at the cutest neighborhood bar for a cocktail. They have a rotating mention and curated cocktails for your choosing as well as a full bar if you're more of a classic girl or guy. The last time I went I enjoyed their spin on a New York sour with egg white. I look forward to their cocktail menu changes and also their classics! Worth checking out!

The Last Penny is home to my favorite espresso martini and is my favorite cocktail bar in Baltimore. The drinks are creative and inventive but the atmosphere is laid back and not stuffy. The bartenders are great and the drinks are all at a great price point! There is ample bar seating but there are also tables if you have a larger group. They do not serve food, but you can order takeout and eat it there. We have brought many friends here on a Friday or Saturday night and just sit and relax for hours. This is a such a hidden gem!!

Lovely neighborhood cocktail bar with a fun menu and good vibes. My fiancé and I went here for dinner and drinks on a Friday around 5:30 and sat at the bar. There is a huge bar with maybe 12-15 seats and a few 4 top tables. After about 7pm it got packed and was mostly standing room.The cocktail menu was a good size with lots of fun and experimental flavor combos. I appreciate the creativity! We each got 2 cocktails. One of mine had an edible flower in it and it was delish. My fiancé got the espresso martini as did just about every other customer! One suggestion for the team is to put photos of the drink menu pinned on Instagram! Keep in mind these are all custom made by your bartender for each drink so please be patient, it is worth the wait. The food menu is small but everything we had was tasty and filling. All the food is like snacky Indian food - with lots of masala spices. We got the sampler and a chicken tikka pizza. I'd recommend both! The wings were the best part for us. That menu is on their insta. It's definitely not a full fancy meal but with the cocktails, for me it was plenty. They had a few TVs and played some music, it wasn't too loud and they had some cute string lights. Both bartenders were friendly and attentive. I hope they keep making new drinks and perhaps rotate the menu occasionally! This is a great addition to Locust Point, definitely a killer date spot, come support a great local spot!!

Stopped here for pre-dinner drinks on a night out celebrating my upcoming birthday. I don't usually go to cocktail bars, but I was excited about this new local spot and wanted to support a new business in the area.The interior is cozy and simple. Not too busy, not to loud, it was perfect for hanging out with family and sharing a drink. We tried 3 different drinks off the menu. Hands down the best one was the paper plane. It was bourbon based, I don't recall everything else that was in it, but it was very tasty.I got the lazy river, which was basically a mezcal tequila sunrise. While it was tasty, I felt like the flavor was a little weak. I like strong drinks though, so this may just be a matter of personal taste.What really made the visit for us though was the service. It was very friendly, very comfortable, definitely has a good vibe for a neighborhood spot. I suspect it will be a huge success. Will definitely be back once they get their kitchen up and running.

The last penny opened last winter in my neighborhood and I finally made it in recently! Located in a residential area of locust point, it was easily walkable for me.On a weeknight, the bar was fairly busy, but I was able to find a seat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly. They have a variety of cocktails on the menu and some free bags of chips along the bar to munch on (I think I heard they're working on a food menu). I went with a champaign cocktail and it was so delicious I got a second!As the bar emptied out, we chatted with the bartender who also is an owner. He's super down to earth, friendly, and clearly cares about his bar as well as the locust point neighborhood.I really loved the casual, friendly vibe combined with very tasty cocktails. This is definitely an approachable neighborhood bar and I can't wait to go back!

A hidden neighborhood gem!! If you are looking for a super chill and fun scene head over to the lady penny! I have been here twice - once opening weekend and again on Saturday! It's a fun spot with some cool drink options as well! A super chill place to watch the game on a weekday or weekend! Everyone is so friendly and even remember us from the first visit! They offer small bar snacks which is perfect for the vibe and keep the drinks flowing! Very happy to see them becoming a staple in the neighborhood and getting support! If you haven't been I would highly recommend! This would be the perfect place for football season watching on a chill scale!

A terrific neighborhood gem with inventive cocktails and friendly service. Be sure to give their fusion pizza a try (chicken masala pizza)) for a snack.
