I visit The Grill about once a year. For some reason, I always forget that it's there. And that's a shame because I can't remember a meal there that I didn't like.Yesterday was no exception. We went in after church for lunch/brunch and had another good meal. Chesapeake Benedict was my dish. Nicely done.Service was a little slow even after the restaurant started to empty out, but not terribly so.

As we've come to expect we were greeted warmly and seated in short order, soon after Abagail came to the table and took our drink and appetizer order. Over the course of our dinner, she checked on us regularly and kept our drinks full asking if we would like coffee or dessert when the time came.We started with the Crab Dip, which was plentiful and arrived piping hot, sadly the amount of salt in the dip overshadowed the delicate taste of the crab and cheese. The pretzels sticks weren't impressive either, it was nice that they weren't salted but the dough was heavy and lacked flavor. The rolls and corn bread were quite nice. The rolls had a nice crust and were soft on the inside, we enjoyed them with the butter that came with them. I was pleased with the corn bread, it had a wonderful consistency, and a subtle corn flavor, the corn bread was warmed leaving the cut edges lightly toasted. My wife ordered Fish & Chips with a Small Garden Salad. The fish was well cooked, flaked easily and coated with a light beer batter.I went with the Mahi Reuben, it was a nicely done Reuben with the traditional corned beef swapped for Mahi, the Gruyere was a pleasant addition and worth repeating. As a side I choose onion rings which were a subtle ring of onion coated with a delicate beer batter. Abagail suggested the horseradish dip and I thought I'd give it a try, if you like a good strong horseradish this dip is for you. I ended up, despite the full flavor, setting the dip aside as the burn was too much.

My husband and I went here for breakfast for the first time today. When we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised with how large the space was. It did not look this large from the outside. The restaurant had a very cool vibe and was very warm and inviting. We were sat promptly upon arriving. Our waitress, Laney, came over to introduce herself and take our drink order only moment later. When Laney returned to get our order, I asked her a few questions and she was very nice and helpful giving me a great deal of information to help me make my decision. I ordered the Belgian waffle with bananas and chocolate chips. My husband ordered the chicken and waffle with a side of eggs, sunny side up, and home fries. My portion was huge. My only disappointment was that the Belgian waffle was soft. I tend to like my Belgian waffle crispy. So, next time I will definitely have to ask to have them cook it a little longer. My husband felt the same way about his waffle. He also thought there could be a little more sausage gravy on his food. However, like me, he was pleased with the overall taste of the meal.We will definitely return because there's plenty of other items on the menu that we want to try If you're looking for a cool place with a very expensive menu and some great breakfast items, I have a recommend you give this restaurant a try!

I had such a great time here. As soon as you walk in, you get that warm, cozy feeling. The decor is so welcoming and the fireplace is so delightful. We were received and seated very quickly. Linette provided us excellent service. The food was served promptly and hot. The pancakes were huge and took up the entire plate. I loved the grits, bacon and scrambled eggs with provolone cheese......Yum. The Maryland Crab soup was so delicious. Since this was my first visit, they gifted me with Pumpkin Muffins. How awesome was that. I will definitely be back. Make sure you sign up for their Dining Rewards. Enjoy!

Love finding a secret menu item at restaurants! Ask for the Quarterfeild Smash Burger! 2 butcher blend patties, fried onions, lettuce, house made pickles and special sauce. If you like or love burgers you need to try, so GOOD!!!

I was visiting for the holidays and went with two friends at around 11am on a Friday morning. I think we had just missed the morning rush -- they do breakfast until 11am which we were surprised about and had to order lunch. The food was delicious and their spiced iced tea is sooo tasty (both hot or iced)! There's a lot of seating but it looks like this place is always packed. When we were leaving there was a rush of people in the waiting area (around 1pm). Not sure if they take reservations but I would recommend making reservations if possible!

I haven't been to Grill at Quarterfield in a while so we decided to swing by. The wife and I got two iced Keoke coffee's that were pretty strong & very tasty. Our waitress, Holly was really nice & accessible and our breakfast, Chicken, French Toast & scrambled eggs were cooked really well. Crowded restaurant but little to no wait, got a comfy booth in the back, and really good service sounds like a good time to me.

I've eaten here about 10 times. The reason for only three stars is because every time I've eaten here at breakfast or lunch The service is extremely slow. Almost every time I have to find my server for either I'm missing utensil or a refill on an iced tea/coffee. The last time the server was sitting in the booth hanging out with her friends And we didn't get our check for 20 minutes. So I've decided that it's best I just get takeout here at least for me and I've gotten three or four of their salads and have really loved them. They are not cheap, but they are good. My favorite is the chicken spinach salad which is this: Spinach, mixed field greens, green onions, red peppers, shredded carrots, mushrooms, mandarin oranges and sesame chicken served with vinagrette.

We were in the area & entered in a place that Yelp recommended and it didn't disappoint!!! My burger was made to perfection, the fries were fresh and seasoned and the crab dip!!! I will dream about that dip until I return, I just wish there were more pretzel bread along with it. The staff was so nice and the area was clean and welcoming. I will definitely return.

What happened? These plates are bare! Plating is no longer a "thing" here. No pretty greenery, no salt or pepper on top, no side of hot sauce or ketchup or even a smile when placed down. I felt like I was at the restaurant called DICK'S where they legit throw your food at you and do the bare minimum... Quality has drastically changed. Been twice in the past two months and both times we were served food that we can make at home--nothing overly special or tasty.
