We've visited from time to time over the years, but probably not since the pandemic. We visited for lunch on an autumn Thursday and really were pretty impressed. A long and imaginative lunch menu was presented to us, along with various "pick two" and "pick three" options. Several sounded quite excellent. We got the duck with feta nachos and were not the least bit disappointed. A little pricey (you have to work to hold the line at $15 (ish) for lunch, but it can be done. $20 opens a whole new world. Service could not have been better, and the atmosphere is date- or business-lunch worthy. Harryman is a keeper.

Unique spot to host a work event. Nice private room with phenomenal servers who filled drinks quickly.- Enjoyed the non-alc strawberry crush, but very ice heavy - Tasty buffalo cauliflower and crab dip - Delicious Maryland style crab soup! - Decent entrée, not the best quality seared tuna, but nice presentation and good amount of vegetables - Really good banana foster!

The food at Harryman House is excellent and the service is attentive. The restaurant itself is unique. It is built into an old home so the layout and ambiance is different than most restaurants. For beverages we had the honey suckle margarita and the hunch punch cooler which was delicious! For appetizers we had the ciabatta rolls, beef tenderloin crustini and crab dip. I had the filet and my boyfriend had the rockfish. We shared creme brulee and the apple crostada for dessert. Everything was yummy. I did not like the beef tenderloin crustini but my boyfriend loved it. The only downside to this place is that their parking lot is small, but everything else makes up for it!

Chicken salad sandwich was just alright. Caesar salad and sidewinder fries were good. Service was relatively quiet for weekday lunch. Interior has lots of seating options and was beautifully decorated for the holidays.

My life will never be the same after the brunch I had. Eggs Benedict? Everyone serves eggs benedict...but a cornbread base with crab imperial patty TOPPED with a poached egg and hollandaise?! It's unbelievable. It has redefined eggs Benedict for me. (To note, it comes with Canadian Bacon but I had it served on the side and shared it)Also had scones which were warm and tasty. Not quite a 'crumbly' scone but a little bit of dense pastry layers meets cake. It was served with a sweet marmalade on the side. It was good, but definitely didn't need that letter of sweetness for every bite.I also had a bloody mary which was 'okay'. It wasn't super flavorful and I had to ask for olives. Service was also okay. The bar area was flowing so I'm trying to cut them some slack but it wasn't slammed for the level of service we received...they forgot about our scones order and the food and drinks took much longer to receive than seemed necessary. All in all though, great spot. Nice place without being stuff (for brunch/bar area) and a fresh menu with well prepared food. Will definitely be back!!

My wife and I enjoyed a fun date night at the Grill at Harryman House. Our waiter was both very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. We really enjoyed our drinks and appetizer, which was popcorn cauliflower with a honey-sriracha sauce. Our entrees of grilled salmon and seared rockfish were delicious and made for a nice meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting in a restored historic house.

Don't count on eating there unless you get lucky. I called to confirm they were open as the website said they were closed at 5Pm on a Sat. I asked what the wait for a party of 1 was and was told no wait. I arrived 10 minutes later (I a live a mile and a half away) but when I got there I was told there would be no available table for over two hours. The food is usually ok but not worth a two hour wait as the portions are often on the small side for the price.I do not plan on going back as I have plenty of other places that actually want my business. When I first went there 15 years ago I would have easily given a 5 star review. After this visit and the last a 2 star review is being generous.

We went in anticipation of a great evening at a historic restaurant. We observed the historical setting but the the balance of the evening not so good. Started with the adjacent table sending back cold soup. When mine arrived 10 minutes later my crab soup was also cold. One of the servers took it back without a return or explanation. Brussels sprouts didn't come with my wife's order. She asked and the waiter came back and said they were 88. That means they were out. Then after disappointing slow service, waiter who was not customer centric, came by and said I guess you want your check. He didn't offer dessert and threw the check on the tables with the cold soup (that was not heated or returned) still on the check. I thought I was on SNL. Very disappointing. The manager on duty did come by in effort to make it right. She requested we come back, and stated they are better than their performance for that night. We were given a gift card and will return at some point. The restaurant seems to have potential and hopefully our experience was isolated to this one evening.

Hands down one of the worst restaurant experiences. Our server, didn't give us his name, inform us of any nightly specials (it was bottle wine night so I figured when I ordered a glass of wine he could've suggested a bottle) he saw that our Brie app was visibly burnt to a hard black crisp...The pastry it was wrapped in was black and smelled beyond burnt.. looked like there was attempt of trying to cover it by a plethora of jam. It was served as is.. just a piece of Brie wrapped in burnt pastry. Nothing to dip or eat at it with..The oysters were delicious but over $19 for a HALF a DOZEN. They were small enough to look like they could be served in a doll house. And the home made jalepeno sauce on the side tasted like a spicy margarita from chili's . Do not recommend topping the oysters with it. Since we were drinking, we decided to play it safe and get a margarita pizza just to have something of substance in us that would come out edible. We thought that was going to be something they couldn't mess up. After our appetizers we weren't willing to risk trying anything slightly complex. Turns out it was also barely edible. The cheese they put under the cold globs of mozzarella was still half frozen. The crust reminded me of the pizza they served in public school lunches back in the day but worse.. and the excess bright green olive oil mix on top was overbearing and soggy. Oh and basil on top was brown, not from being in the oven but because it was old and wilted. I hate complaining to get a comp on my bill but I got damn close.. so we didn't say anything and just realized we will never go back. I found it odd that our server saw we both took one bite and didn't even ask how anything was.. he was incredibly avoidant and wouldn't want to have to be served by him again. This place and atmosphere has SO MUCH potential. But they need to hire better servers and more importantly a new kitchen manager/ chef. YIKES
