I called twice to order Shiva tray and ended up going to the store. I ordered a tray and was quoted a price and paid at the time. I unfortunately (and that's on me), should have received the receipt that evening. Kimberly even called her boss to see if I should get money off since I substituted egg salad instead of white fish. I was told they would throw in the olives and pickles. I went there Friday night since it was needed on Sunday. (Goldbergs was closed)When I came to pick it up on Sunday, NO ONE went over my order with me, I had to wait as it was not complete, nor bagged. I asked for ONLY 10 slices of lox and got full platter. I had to leave after 10-15 minutes since I was picking up the tray. I told them that the receipt was wrong as that is not what I was told when I placed the order and paid. I received a call later that day from Kimberly who said "I made a mistake on the price". They changed the price (not what I was quoted) and sent a receipt via email. Still waiting for it to change on my credit card..Also, on Saturday, I received a call from someone who not only never said who she was or where she was calling from to say she had seen I called there twice. This is definitley NOT Gourmet Again, who was an amazing place to do business. The workers and owner were professional, kind, and cared about their customers. I will NEVER go there again for any reason. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because at least the food I received was good.If you need a Shiva tray or any type of platter, I would highly recommend Lenny's ( who I picked up for someone) or Goldbergs.

These Gourmet Gals completely screwed the pooch during a recent visit.Fam went down to MD to celebrate sis's b-day. On the final morning before departing, we decided to grab a nice breakfast. Sis had ordered food to-go from this place in the past. Mentioned there was a dining area. Decided to give it a whirl.Since we had never actually dined in here before, no one really knew what to do. This place doubles as a market, so you walk in and it actually looks like a grocery store. It's not super obvious what the protocol is for dining-in when walking through the door. And no one is in any real rush to tell you. I suppose they assume most people are just coming in to browse the aisles or have been here before and know what to do already.Well, in our case, we didn't We eventually noticed the dining room off to the side. We stood there, scanning for a host stand. Eventually the woman at the register said we could sit anywhere. Excellent. The dining room was completely empty, so we had our pick of the litter. We sat there a minute and realized no one was coming to greet us or bring out menus. Ah, ok. That would have been nice to know.Whatever, we figured it out. At the back of the store on the opposite side of the building is a counter where you place your order. Now here is basically where the service starts and ends. The order goes in, you sit down, a bell rings, someone - anyone who works there and in earshot - goes to the kitchen and brings out the food. After the food is dropped off, there is no follow-up check, the bill is paid for before the food is even brought out (tip included), and then that's it. You are self-sufficient. Which is totally fine, as this is not a sit-down restaurant. The only problem with no follow-up checks is if there is something wrong with the order, you have to shamble across the dining room, through the store, and back up to the counter (where there's hopefully no line). And this would be just to bring something to their attention, mind you. Apparently it's a toss-up whether or not issues brought up will even be addressed. As for the food - it was perfectly fine, which is makes this visit so frustrating. Had everything come out together at the start, this would instead be an easy 5-star review. Instead that one missing dish set into motion a domino effect of flub after flub, from which The Gourmet Girls could never recover.

This place used to be "gourmet again" They make a great tuna salad sandwich and the service is great- fast and kind. It still has a vibe of a little market

The ladies are lovely and provided good service. We stopped in for lunch for the first time. The ambiance is very eclectic. We ordered Rachel sandwiches because the person behind the counter could not tell us if the corned beef had nitrates (which we avoid) so turkey it was. Food was delivered to our table by a very nice lady. The temperature of the sandwich was lukewarm and not as hot as expected. The turkey tasted like lunchmeat rather than from a roast turkey. For the cost, it wasn't what we expected. It does seem to be a hotspot for locals though.

OMG. Just realized they made some changes to the menu PRICES and it stopped my forward motion towards ordering. Dangit GG for going up to $7.00 but $6.99 listed on menu for small cup of grits. Back to the kitchen. These math prices ain't matching the state of the economy. Good Luck GG.

Great service. The business is reminiscent of a general store with ample seating for dining in and they're well stocked w/everything from Fisher's caramel corn from "down ne ocean" to beer & liquor. They're also open on Sunday's.Sadly, the food was disappointing. It's NOTHING like what was served when the company was located in Owings Mills. I'm a believer of the saying you eat w/your eyes first so I knew immediately that my dish wasn't up to par... the eggs scrambled w/cheese weren't scrambled, they were folded and the cheese was laid on the top. The silver dollars pancakes were too dense, I only ate around the edges. The bacon was passable. We were a party of three and unfortunately, no one enjoyed their food.I'm giving an extra star b/c although the salad bar isn't as well stocked as the previous location, it looked fresh & delicious. I'm also factoring in the cleanliness of the restroom with paper towels instead of a blow dryer that makes me have to use my clothing to open the door to avoid contaminating my hands again. I would t eat here again.

This is a hidden gem. It's a market/dine-in place. It's quaint and the staff was friendly. You place your order at the counter and then find you a seat in the dining area to await your food. Stumbled across it but enjoy going there with a friend
