The Cellars offer a wide selection of beers and wine. Some of their white wine and sparkling wine are already cooled in a refrigerator, which is definitely a plus. They also have an option to build your own 6-pack of beers, allowing you to try different beers. I have noticed that the prices have increased recently since coming here. I used to get a bottle of Ménage a Trois Prosecco for $10 last year and now it's almost $16. The Cellars is right next to the Harris Teeter so it's very convenient to get your groceries and then purchase a bottle of wine or pack of beer. The ambience is very organized with each section labeled with the type of wine making shopping for a bottle, much easier. They also have two cashiers so the service is fast as well.

The Cellars is conveniently attached to my regular grocery store, which means I can food shop, then stop to get beer or wine if I want. And if I'm not mistaken, they have the same or similar hours as Harris Teeter, so they're open super early. I've found some fairly decent wine there as well as beer, which means I usually take a spin through there even if I'm not in the mood for a drink. That said, this place is seriously overpriced! It's like you pay for the convenience of it being attached to the grocery store. Also, they only offer beer and wine, so if one needs hard liquor, they can't get it there. So it's not a one stop shop.

Pluses...open 7 days a week. Great selection of beer and wine, and LOTS of IPA's and micro brews. Here in MD, beer and wine is not sold in any other store other than a store FOR alcohol....so its next too the grocery store, but not PART of the grocery store. Negatives....really over priced....but see above. lol

First of all, this place does have a great selection but you will be paying SO much above regular market price for the wines that that alone is enough to give this place 1 Star. **grossly overpriced** What's worse than the absurd pricing is the service if you decide to sit at the bar. We sat down at the bar to have some wine. I've attached the menu so as you can see you can get a taste, a half glass or a full glass. I wanted to taste a few wines to decide on a bottle to buy so I asked for a half glass of the Krug cab. Immediately she sassed back saying they don't do half glasses. So I just settled on getting a full glass of that. After 5 minutes she came back saying they don't have that wine although I was clearly looking at it in that tasting machine they have back there. But not being one to argue I asked for a glass of the Pinot noir, which was slapped down in front of me. ***The service was the worst service I've EVER had (probably because there's no option to tip so they don't feel like they need to be nice). I will NOT ever be returning to this place and I suggest you don't either. The lady was so so rude, not just to us but everyone at the bar. she was working on 5/27/19 at 8:15pm. TLDR DONT EVER COME HERE FOR ANYTHING

Don't buy beer here. I have been a loyal customer of theirs for a couple years now. Last night I bought an expensive 4pack of beer (~$18) when I tasted it I could tell the beer was very old and had gone off. I went in today to let them know so they would take it off the shelf (didn't ask for a refund) and was basically told they didn't care and wouldn't be doing anything about it.

The beer selection is better than the wine selection. They have recently added a wall of single beers so you can make your own six pack. They have your normal basic wines and a few nicer bottles in each of the grape categories. The sales change regularly, but the price isn't ever cheaper than the wine source.

I like The Cellars, but I don't love it. I'm originally from Michigan, and in that extremely civilized state, one can buy their wine and beer (and even liquor!). So, even though, the stores are not the same (if only in name), it's convenient to be able to pick up that bottle of wine while you're buying ingredients for dinner. A major plus for this store is that it's open on Sunday. Again, Michigan, you can buy you're booze damn near whenever you want. AND IT'S AWESOME. Come on, Maryland, get with it.But I digress. Here's the thing about The Cellars, though. If it weren't sometimes the only option, it wouldn't be all that great. Their beer selection is only slightly better than the Miller Lites and Natty Bohs...they'll have a few fancy-pants breweries, but not really all that many, so if you're looking for something new and exciting, it's probably not here. The wine selection is OK, but, again, it's not amazing. They have a bar (which is how the skirt the no liquor stores open on Sunday BS); it has a neat looking wine tap, but nothing all that impressive on tap.In any case, I'll keep going to The Cellars, particularly when it's Sunday afternoon and I forgot to pick up some beer for football, or I'm shopping for food and think that it'd be nice to have wine. It's a nice resource to have open, but it's nothing to write home about.

This place has many shelves of wine and a few beers. Came here for a good bottle of petit Syrah but they has none! It's also pretty overpriced but convenient next to Harris teeter. The huge gripe about this place is that they have no hard liquor! Pick it up people!

Rude and discourteous service by the two bros standing around talking behind the counter bar area. They seemed more interested in swilling free beer than serving customers. Barely even turned around to ring me in and then I had to bag my own beer.
