The Bygone remains one of the best rooftop bars in Baltimore. The outdoor areas are stunning with the fireplaces and views. It has the best view of the city, IMO. The drinks are always crafted so well. I have not tried the food but plan on coming back for it one day. It's a very classy establishment and I wish Baltimore had more places like this! The only knock I have on this place is that they really need more bartenders working because every time I go, it's a struggle to get a drink. Once you have a drink, everything is great!

I thoroughly enjoyed my evening at The Bygone. We were lucky to have made last-minute reservations while visiting family in Baltimore. As you enter The Four Seasons, you are escorted to the rooftop, The Bygone. The elevator opens up to panoramic view of the Harbor and lively nightlife. Our reservation was for cocktails, only, so we were escorted to a cocktail table across from the bar. There was a DJ for the evening, it wad the perfect mixture of people watching and provided entertainment. My date and I ordered old fashions, which were perfectly made. So much so, I was quite tipsy by my 2nd. All in all, The Bygone is the perfect atmosphere for a late night elevated experience. The only caveat is coming down at the end of the night, which you have to wait for the elevator for.

I choose this restaurant for an elegant brunch experience with family for my mom's birthday. The views are spectacular of the Baltimore sky line weather sunny or cloudy. This restaurant is located on the 29th floor housed inside the Four Season Hotel. There is a special elevator to get up to the restaurant. Parking is definitely tight in the area however, they have expensive garages near by. I made reservations however, I recommend the early seating instead of the later seating. My first experience was not the best however, the management staff definitely made up for it with a return invite back. The food selection includes a craving station, omelettes, waffles, raw bar and the cheesy grits were delicious. Also, the meat on the craving station was a bit rare however, you can ask your server to take it to the kitchen to be cooked to your liking. The food selection is limited for the cost. There is a dessert bar with assorted sweet treats. The staff wished and provided a complimentary ice cream sundae for the birthday celebration. The bathrooms were clean and ready for bathroom selfies. The outdoor patio have some seating outside to enjoy the view after a great meal. Overall, I would return to check out there dinner menu.

Fancy and sexy vibe with beautiful people all around. Great large crowd with fabulous music that will get you moving. Service was a bit slow since it was packed but the drinks were on point. Excellent rooftop bar with stunning view.

I had a great time at the Bygone! They have a beautiful view overlooking the harbor. Some nights they have a DJ and they do serve food. I usually get their Fine & Dandy ($20) cocktail, which is light and refreshing with notes of pear and elderflower. This time I tried something a little out of my comfort zone. Our bartender, B. Will (Britt), knows her stuff. She made our cocktails at ease and definitely contributed to the fun atmosphere and that really elevated our experience. I decided to try the Blind Tiger ($17), which has rye whiskey, rum, blackberry, lemon, rosemary and benedictine. I have had a few cocktails with benedictine in it so I knew what I was in for. B. Will lightly lit the rosemary sprig on and the aroma was heavenly! Every sip immediately smelled like incense and I truly enjoyed it. I also would recommend the Bygone Daisy ($18), which was also very light and refreshing with strawberry, lemon, and sparkling wine. Great service and beautiful views!

I have never updated a 5 star review with another 5 star review, so here goes nothing..LOL!Who doesn't like being treated to dinner and especially one that I consider the best Baltimore has to offer, so of course, I was ALLLL IN!! :) After eating our appetizers and engaged in conversation, we didn't notice that time had gone by without our entrees arriving. Well, our super attentive server did and she apologized and said, desserts were on the house. We thought that was very nice of her, but again, we weren't starving because we did have a little something in our stomachs..LOL! Without noticing, the sun had set and wow, still no entrees. We didn't bring it to their attention, but our amazing server directly told us, entrees will also be on The Bygone because of the unusual issues in the kitchen. The food came out shortly after and the lamb chops and lump crab cakes were delicious. What a classy gesture and amazing customer service. The Bygone had me hooked after my first visit many moons ago and still has me hooked today because they are what I call "class personified"!!!!

What is love at first sight? I think I've had that happen a couple of times in the last three weeks. Or maybe I'll give the Bygone, love at first bite.First, I've frequented the best of the best restaurants in the world. I've eaten food from the most renowned Chefs. So this review should be read knowing this foodie knows her stuff! What makes food special is the experience and the work that comes with the entire presentation. Presentation of EVERYTHING! Your host, the management, the servers, the waitstaff. Your whole meal can be ruined by the entire experience. The Bygone is nothing short of excellence. It was fine dining at its best. My view was beautiful, we were by the window and were able to see the sun set. I had the best view in front of me but the skyline was everything! Romantic for sure! Let's get into the FOOD:Shrimp Cocktail- the best I've had in a while! Rich in flavor and exceeded all expectations! Crispy Oysters- To DIE for! Literally talked about them hours later. (I need more of these.)Crabcake- Yummy!!!!Curry spiced Rack of Lamb- Flavored to perfection! Mac and cheese was delicious! Asparagus was good. Key Lime Mousse had ginger-graham crumb, marshmallow, raspberry, passion fruit snow and was delicious! Brownie & Banana had brownie & bananagianduja ganache, caremelized banana, dehydrated chocolate mousse, passion fruit crunch, banana ice cream was exquisite! My date said, it doesn't get better than this place in Baltimore. Sad it's taken me this long to come! #madlyinlove

I booked a reservation for the Bygone for Mother's Day bc, from what I could see, and had heard, was that the ambiance was incredible. You enter through the Four Seasons hotel, where you're instantly greeted by doormen & can even get Valet if you'd like. There is a garage really close by as well, so pick your preference. Upon entry, there is a hostess on the bottom floor that guides you to the elevator specifically designated for the Bygone's guests, which was a really nice touch. The restaurant is on the 29th floor of the hotel & this elevator only goes there. Once you enter, you instantly feel the vibe of a wonderfully put together restaurant with amazing views. There's a lounge area, where some of the patrons are a bit more dressed down, and the restaurant side, which is a little quieter. Both are great, however, I did book a table for the restaurant side, but was asked if I'd be willing to take a table in the lounge area, which I was happy to do, but I will admit, we felt a bit overdressed on this side of the restaurant. That said, it was still a great experience. We ordered the MD Crab dip as an appetizer, and the Curry Spiced Rack of Lamb, and New York Au Poivre with sides of Mac & Cheese & purée de pomme de terre, and everything was excellent. If I could do it all again, the only thing that I would've changed was my steak - I would've gotten it medium rare, but otherwise, dinner was perfect. The Curry Rack of Lamb was super flavorful and cooked perfectly. For drinks, I had an Espresso Martini & the Mrs had a ginger infused drink. Our waitress was very attentive and polite & even gave us a complimentary champagne toast as well as took photos of us when we were done. I would definitely visit the Bygone again.

Stunning views. They have Nick and Nora martini glasses which we were blown away with. Attention to detail is what they offer. Our bartender Justin was amazing, he took the time to tell us about the Baltimore Harbor and the menu in great detail. LOVE the Bygone and cannot wait to reture.Beth A/NY
