My friend and I were recommended this place by the people who work at Lumière Candle Studio. When we first arrived at the restaurant I was confused because I thought it was an antique furniture store. However, once walking we greeted and saw a bar + dining tables. The food was soooo good, and it was priced quite well! The people who were working that night were kind, welcoming, and sociable!

The place is gorgeous! The vibe was great and it's what attracted us here. Our server was very kind but he was the only one working the floor so it took some time for us to get water and get checked on.We ordered their taiwanese chicken as a starter which was great, mind you it is made with chicken thighs and it makes so much better than your usual fried chicken bites, plus the sauce was a great add! We also got their pesto chicken sandwich to share which was good though the chicken cutlet was very thin.Overall a nice place

Very cool spot with an eclectic menu. It looks like a disused museum inside. Cool chairs and good food. Didn't try drinks but the cocktail menu looked like a nice selection of well priced classics. Liked the beignets and the Indian spiced fried chicken sandwich.

I would love to be more generous to a newer restaurant....but not at Yelpers expense. The positive, my cocktail was sophisticated and delicious and they have a nice wine list with a lot of by-the-glass options. My appetizer, salt and pepper chicken, was fine, if a little boring. My dinner, giblets over rice, was not restaurant worthy. It wasn't visually appealing and was only ok. I understand they're still trying to settle on a menu, I felt like a guinea pig, to be honest.

Little signage, lots of history. This is the old Sascha's! New owner. Tremendous quality and fun. Buttonwood is the owners favorite family tree which sits in the back of the bar. Food is Asian/indian/Gourmet. Drinks are also fusion with chartreuse inspired drinks. The owner (who also owns the Bum shop by UMD has outlets of thought and is still refining the place. Pakoras were excellent. Drinks were great and space was fun!

What a great place to stumble upon. We were in the area visiting the art museum and wanted a good meal and boy did we find one. This is such a great space. It feel natural and open and luxurious without feeling luxe. It feels like you belong. It feels almost like something out of Italy? Like those vibes. Very cozy but open and nice but obtainable. I haven't experienced anything like this here in Baltimore. The drinks, delicious. So summery, so boozy, so good. The food was great. You can peek at the full menu that will be rolling out soon and it's so exciting. The fusion that they're doing here is going to be so bomb. The schnitzel was great, the fries were so well seasoned. The bulgogi sandwich was wonderful. And the service was attentive but not overbearing. Definitely a spot I can see becoming one of the new up and coming "it" spots!!

I was here on their soft opening. I didn't have time to write the review and then I forgot about it. I loved this stop. I stumbled upon it walking to the Peabody library. I stopped in and the food was what the soul needed. The menu was a work in progress and an eclectic blend of a little bit of everything. The butter was something I am still thinking about and it was January when I dined here. The owner was delightful. I had a wonderful conversation and would highly recommend. 5star for service 5star for food But the 10 + star is the ambience. The collection of home goods and botany delights were incredible. It was so nice. The details down to the silverware was perfect.

This gem is worth all praise. A great food and mixology menu, personalable service and the accidentally on purpose decor make this. Must try. The French fries are a must. I had the salt and pepper chicken start. This was some of best chicken I've ever had. Period. The grilled cheese on rye with bacon was just what I needed

I found the Buttonwood by pure accident, but glad I did. I liked the ambiance and antique East Indian vibes. The buttonwood punch was a great option if you love sweeter drinks and for the price well worth it. The compound butter flute (flight) is what kept there past my initial quick drink pop in. The red is tomato chili fennel. It's flavorful and well seasoned, the green was curry not a fav, and the purple was lemon blueberry. The bread they paired with it was warm and pillowy. I took a start because they had one cook so good times were long so I didn't do an entree. But they're still fairly new so no biggie. I'll def be back I wanna try their steak frites

Save yourself a train ride to NYC. This restaurant is right out of Tribeca. Absolutely fantastic food in a reclaimed furniture store. No phone number. No reservations. Start with the Gruyère cheese beignets with honey and thyme or the breaded Salt & Pepper Chicken.
