Finally made it here. Looks comfy inside. Not bad but pastries are "cooled". Was looking for warm soft or flaky baked goods.

The bun shop has *immaculate* WFH vibes. The baristas are talented, and food is always sure to be fresh! I love having this hidden gem in my backyard!

ill make a condensed list of everything wrong with this place:1. the place had a bunch of couches and fabric chairs with dark sweat stains? it looks like it's never been cleaned and im sure that if i swabbed it there would be a whole new ecosystem brewing up in there.2. the big tables were sticky everywhere and i had to wipe them myself because the staff was outside busy passing a bong around.2.5 the table emitted this potent stench of metal when i wiped it, gag inducing3. the barista was rude for no reason, maybe they were having a bad day? i asked them to help me choose between a curry puff and a ham tart (?) and they just replied with "i dont eat meat, so i cant help you." okay..3.5 i chose the curry chickpea puff which was hard as a rock and gave my jaw a workout4. the bathroom smelled worse than a porta potty on a cross country trail. i was scared to touch anything5. the pastries were just left out on a rack with no covering with flies swarming around them6. the sugar/cream self serve area definitely not food safe because the half and half was just out there on the counter for at least 6 hrs in 80F heat?

Came late on a Friday night and the vibe was pretty confusing. I wasn't thrilled that it seemed to faintly smell of cigarettes when we walked in. Like that they have all the flyers for local arts events around town. The Nutella cookie that I had was pretty good, and it's nice that they warm it up. Better than that though was the lavender tea latte. Would definitely get that again, though probably to go.

Laid back cafe, which actually offers unique pastries such as mac n cheese bread, Indian flavor bread, Pho inspired bread, etc. Coffee was great too.

My boyfriend and I came here a little too many times on our short trip to the city (to be fair, it was down the street from our hotel). While it's a touch too dark to feel overwhelming welcoming, the pastries and drinks hold up. The gothic interior was actually charming-- really brought me back to grandma's house, especially with the huge community tables and ancient furniture. One day they were a little understaffed so our drinks took forever, but the other days were fine and we felt the quality maintained. It's not the best coffee/tea/pastries ever, but the vibes absolutely pass the test.

Bun, to me, still reminds of the early aughts when they opened or opined on a savory-dominated but sweet adjacent selection of pastries and roti and rolls--oh my! (And an array of caffeine drinks, natch!)Needed to be here tonight for some matcha tea, a cookie and some bop of Monk, Coltrane, Miles and others to calm that antsy feeling in the silence of students at laptops, the thrum of the night city and the occasional street stray jonesing for some change. The service is laid back and on point.

I love that a place like this exists! A late night cafe is what every community needs :) This cafe is located on a little street decorated with hanging lights at night time. It has a real old timey charm about it, from the streets to the interior. The cafe has tons of seating and outlets. The service was great and very friendly. I ordered an iced Hong Kong and a rotiboy. The barista said they were out, so they had to get some from the other location earlier, and he said he could make me a fresh one. The Hong Kong was pretty good and nicely sweetened. Make sure to mix it up because I think I only tasted the espresso first then the tea. The fresh bread took about 15 mins and came out super warm. It was so nice of him to make a fresh one for me! If you do get a chance to try it warm, it's SO GOOD. Such a simple bread but it was super comforting. The crust on top is just a bit sweet and the bread is soft and chewy. I think it's a sweet bread but overall it leaned more neutral/salty. This would've been really good dunked in a hot beverage. I'd love to try the matcha one next time if they have it. If I was still a student, this would be the perfect spot for late night studying or just catching up with a friend.

I was a bit hesitant to come here because a friend of mine told me she had a worker be racist towards her. Still have it a try.Walking in, I noticed it was very quiet, kind of dark, gave off a vintage hippy vibe, and there was only one person working. He was nice and offered some recommendations. I was not in a rush so having one person working didn't bother me, however, it is inefficient to have one person working in the morning at a coffee shop. The menu is short and simple which I like because it's not overwhelming. They have savory and sweet buns which is also cool to appeal to the desires of everyone. The sweet bun I got was an apple one and it was really good. It was warm, soft, sweet, and had the right amount of apples and cinnamon. The coffee was average. It was not bad by all means, but it was also not the best. I would only come back for the buns but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.
