My friend and I met here for a girl's night happy hour and we had a great time, even on a snowy night! The location is beautiful overlooking Nabbs Creek, which flows into the Patapsco. The marina is tucked away into the trees on a long winding road and the view is gorgeous when you pull in. The staff were all so friendly and attentive, they all took care of us and made sure we were taken care of every time they passed by. For drinks, I had their three mocktails and they were delicious. My friend had the same drinks but with alcohol and we really liked sipping on them and chatting. We split the crab dip pretzel and fried pickles, which really hit the spot. I also got the Broken Oar Burger and the chicken Caesar salad wrap to go. I ate them with my husband when I got home and they were super yummy with lots of flavor. I'd definitely come back here again, and I'd love to arrive by boat next time!

The Broken Oar is perfect for when you just need a solid, relaxed joint with a large menu and a place to eat with your friends. They also have great live music!!The food is reliable, consistent. I love that they have a sushi option (but I've never tried it because I've never been when the sushi bar is open). They also have a nice outdoor seating area. It's right on the water and the perfect place to go hang, snag some drinks, and grab a bite.

The broken oar....... The greatest find in the Glen Burnie area!!! First, the food is always AMAZING. Second, the view is phenomenal- right on the water! And third, the staff is always super friendly and fun. They have indoor and outdoor seating but when the weather is nice- nothing beats sitting on the dock and enjoying some food and live music! They do live music most nights! They also do happy hour from 12-6 I believe EVERYDAY!!!! I believe it's some apps, pizza, sushi, beer and wine, and select crushes! Get the creamsicle crush... it's seriously so good and tastes exactly like one! The strawberry lemon one is also good and taste like candy!! I've been a couple times and alwayyysssss get the crabby fries. They are the best in the area, hands down. I've had other places but nothing matches these. They do not skimp!!!Sushi is always fresh and delicious! The pizza isn't the best I've ever had but it's still good! The honey old bay wings are another item I get everytime I go because they are drowned in sauce and SO GOOD!!

Tucked away off the main path, The Broken Oar not only bares a unique name but truly a locals spot. It is exactly what you'd expect next to a small marina. The evening I got lost and found myself here, the place was bustling with patrons, and almost everyone opted for outside seating under the bright sky and crisp evening air. Menu offerings are seasonal, and drinks are solid! Calamari to munch with my drink came out crisp and hot. I also tried the pub fish and chips, and it was good! Cod was a decent size, but I dont care for too much grease. I prefer them flaky and flavorful. The chips were light and addicting lol! If you like smokey mezcal, definitely try their pineapple crush here. Strong 14oz. and great balance of sweet! I enjoyed the live music at the venue. The crowd here is full of locals and that vibe! Outdoor seating weather permitting is abundant, and I can see why it can get crowded. I appreciated the many well-behaved furbabies hanging out on deck the day of my visit!Accessibility is available to the outdoor space and bar. The ramp is located right before the steps to the restaurant entrance. Both indoor and outdoor bars are available. The marina is a tranquil place for after dinner walk. Please be mindful of the private spaces and boat slips at the dock.

it's been a while since we've eaten here. Lucked out with a table in the shade on a busy summer Friday night. Major props to our server Kurt. He was on top of it. Started with calamari which I forgot to get a pic of. Our personal calamari taster (bougie 10yr old) gave a solid 4 out of 5. He then raved over his mozzarella sticks. We agreed they were superior. Hubby got the buffalo chicken wrap with tots. A healthy serving of tot! I got the field salad with salmon. A huge piece of salmon that was well cooked on a super fresh salad. Not too heavy on a warm summer night. I also enjoy the blueberry gin and tonic. Very tasty. Some nice live music and a good crowd.

The Broken Oar is the perfect spot to sit and have lunch during the week--especially when it is not super busy, and the weather is hot and sunny. During the week in their non-surge hours, you can find accessible parking, a clear waterfront view, and happy staff members that are not sweating and swearing under their breath at drunken patrons. If you come during the evenings or on a weekend, it is a different clientele and staff tends to be overwhelmed. My favorite spot is the outdoor bar for the best service and drinks! I have had the shrimp Caesar wrap, shrimp salad wrap, and their sushi rolls!

This place is a little hard to find because it's in a wooded area and not surrounded by any other businesses. But we persisted and found it. You can easily drive past the sign, but know that you have to drive down a hill through a wooded area and you will eventually find it.The place is beautifully decorated with a nautical theme that is pretty and calm. It's part of a marina area. We love the pizzas, sushi and HH specials. We will return.

My wife and I went for lunch at Broken Oar today (Friday). We have been there previously and we were really looking forward to some sushi. Unfortunately sushi isn't available until 4 PM. They really need to point this out on their website. That was the only downside to the visit.Hostess / Server was excellent. The structure, layout and view outstanding. The draft beer list could be better but it did have a good NEIPA so I was good. The food was excellent. I had the Chicken Caesar Wrap and my wife the Shrimp Salad Sandwich. The homemade chips were also a pleasant surprise. (note - they should have Old Bay / JO's on the table). The value was very good, and they even gave a 10% military discount (always appreciated).Definitely a good place to go.
