The Blue Crab Grill

Great place for seafood! Service is excellent and bar makes great drinksAtmosphere is nice and place is very clean!

I only tried the lobster roll which was pretty good, too bad the French fries were not cooked.

My servers name was Stacie. She is one of the friendliest and most attentive servers I have ever experienced. My drink never got empty, she monitored me often enough to know she was there but wasn't over bearing. She made a good experience even better.I started with the half pound of peel and eat shrimp. They were cooked well and served while still hot. Served with drawn butter and cocktail sauce with extra old bay around the edge of the dish so you could spice it up a bit if you like.My entree was eggplant parmigiana with portabella mushroom. Neither vegetable was battered and fried but rather grilled. Served with penne pasta this was a perfect dish.I was expecting a bar atmosphere but this was a very nice place. More restaurant than bar. It is a bit of a higher priced meal but in this case you get what you pay for. I was very happy.

Special of the day is two pounds of boiled or fried shrimp. I went boiled. Trying to watch my figure. Smothered in Old Bay. Old bay is salt. Worst seasoning on the market in my book. So waisted 20$. So I tried the fried. Yep. Waist of another 20$. Fresh out of a frozen bag. Don't call yourself a seafood restaurant if you cook out of a freezer. I sat at the bar. Had to wait on the bartender for beer. I get it. I'm not a local. I'm not known. My bill due to bad food is double just because I wanted to see if I would at least get some good fried shrimp. Cool pub look. It has potential, but I think the owners and staff are happy just keeping the locals happy. Ambiance is lots of rookies cracking crab pounding on tables. I was told this was a good seafood place. Starting to get scared about what North easterners call good seafood.

Great food and service. Friendly staff and the oysters are excellent. Tried a sazarac for the 1st time and was very impressed. Recommend for a date night and recommend reservation.

Hidden gem! Their selection of seafood is vast yet fresh, and the staff have huge personalities. The rotating specials actually rotate, and their seasonal items are amazing. I had a winter cocktail there 4 years ago that I still tell people about. I did take away a star because I have had a few issues with cross-contamination when it comes to allergies, but they have always been good about fixing the situation. Overall, I definitely recommend!

We came here with a large group and the restaurant was very accommodating. Our server Sam was awesome she handled the large group with ease and was friendly. I really enjoyed my soup and the calamari was great. I also got the crabcake sandwich and I do feel it needs a lot more flavor even from the looks of it It looks bland, but it was plenty of crab little filler. As we were leaving a band was setting up, which is a nice addition. I would come here again I look forward to trying more items on the menu

My Husband and I frequent the Blue Crab Grill often. I enjoy the atmosphere but being a the food is Homeade is why we prefer coming here. We usually sit at the Bar and hope Philip is working. He is the most friendliest agent you would ever want to meet. He is attentive to your likes and dislikes and will assist you in good choices to make for either lunch or dinner. One of my favorites is the Homeade Soups and also the Crab Cakes. If the bar is full or we bring other Guests with us then we will sit in the dining room. If you want above beyond and friendly service (all the Servers are Great) request Katie. She is honest with recommendation, her personality is so awesome! She laughs, jokes and is just a fun Server.Then you have the Owner who at times you get to see. He is a Great Gent. Love his homeade Sausages made by him, himsel. He is so kind and nice to talk to. Brunch at Blue Crab on Sundays Is the Best in the area! Live music inthe afternoon as well which is very nice.Nice you frequent Blue Crab Grill and they get to know you, you are treated like Family! I highly recommend you try Blue Crab Grill! I promise you it will not disappoint!

Seems like the cook or kitchen helpers have changed. The crab bisqhe was a delight three visits ago but last night it was thin without much crab.I discussed this with the manager last time I visited.The same story with the crab nachos . I would rave to my friends of how good they were. Not any more. Do better. Service was slow Louie's.

Terrible experience. They expanded to what looks like double their old capacity yet kept the same amount of staff and same size kitchen. Waited well over an hour for food. Steak came out completely raw. All the sides were cold. Over heard the waiter say one of their cooks just walked out. Wouldnt recommend until they fix the staffing and kitchen issues.
