Old school style hot dog shop. Don't expect steak and lobster here. This location has been around way before I was a thought. The decor shows it too. It's very laid back. Nothing fancy. Hot dogs in this area are a tradition in this town. Service was fast and friendly. Flavor is good but you have to like this style. I would recommend this place

This our most favorite place to eat when in town. Tony and his father Jimmy have been serving Hanover for as long as I can remember. The hamburger or hotdog with everything (chili, mustard and onions) is not matched anywhere. The classic diner atmosphere beings back good times. If you are visiting the Hanover area this is a must go. Well done. Love this pace.

There're several Texas Hot Dog places in Hanover. Don't waste your time with them, head right here. My Dad came here as a child and I'm a 50 year customer. I never go to Hanover without getting a Hot Dog and fries. Best Texas Hot Weiner at a reasonable price. Also very clean an family owned.

I was there last year, before covid. Had two dogs with the works. They were ok, not Fab, not extraordinary, but ok. I probably wouldn't go back. The place was clean. Service was prompt. The company was great, my companion a friend of over 50 years.

Be careful because you might have walked past this place by mistake. Amazing food, and the staff working makes you feel like you are amount family. Whenever we go into town we have to stop and at least grab 2 hotdogs and loaded fries with cheese and chili. I seriously tried to think of something not good with the food or the people but can not do that at this time. Next time you are in the mood for great comfort food, keep your eyes peeled for this place and make a point to stop.

DO NOT order the cheeseburger. We ordered a cheeseburger and double cheeseburger and when they came out they looked like dried up dog turds. They were tasteless and look like they had been cooked hours before.

Been past this restaurant for years and have wanted to stop. Today was the day we stopped. The inside reminds you of an old soda store. Small seating at bar, a few booths and couple tables. The decor is from days gone by. Our initial impression was not great with the servers. We sure didnt feel welcome. Ordered the 2 weiners loaded with fries, $11.50! We were willing to try. The weiners were smothered in onions but no taste, the weiners were grilled but not much taste, the chilli sauce was also bland. Fries were so so, tasted like the grease they were fried in. Very disappointed. Glad they have been in business for 101 years and wish them luck for the future. Obviously, this is a place for regulars. If we stop again, no weiners!
