A classic, classy French restaurant right out of a movie. The staff are 1st class - knowledgeable about every dish with personalities just as warm as the food. My wife and I had a lovely night out, stuffed beyond satisfaction. The food is at the level of quality you'd expect for the fine dining experience that it is. This place is a jem in Ellicott City. Well worth a visit.

Tersiguel's holds a special place in my heart as my husband and I enjoyed a meal together here the day we got legally married. The restaurant is intimate with about 10-12 tables. My favorite thing about this restaurant is the prix fix menu with wine pairing for a very reasonable price in comparison to other places. For each course, there is an explanation of the course and wine pairing. Everyone is super nice and for a "fancy restaurant" it isn't stuffy at all. Would recommend visiting if you're interested in enjoying a Chef's set menu that changes often and tastes delicious.

This was sadly one of the worst restaurants we've been to in a very long time! There were glaring issues with every course! Undercooked, under seasoned and just plain bad! Even the bread we received was borderline stale and uninspired. As a couple who have been to several fine dining establishments, it was laughable to even put this restaurant in that category! The building itself was cute and a very elegant feel. Waitstaff was adequate, but none of that could make up for the catastrophe on our plates! Honestly, we were shocked considering the stellar reviews of this long standing icon in Ellicott City. As for us however, we will never return!

I won't knock off any stars, but probably best to steer clear of this place with its prix-fixe menu if you are a picky eater. I enjoyed the dessert, but the rest was a struggle. I asked if they could avoid serving me mushrooms and they could not - so many mushrooms in so many of the plates. The lamb(?) was extremely rare. Everyone receives the same dish at the same time and there were 3 other groups in the room...it was interesting how the server spoke differently to my group (example, telling one group to eat the puffer fish similar to frog legs while telling me to think of it as a chicken wing, hm). It can be a very expensive experiment if you don't like what ends up being served. My husband on the other hand loved everything (along with all my extra mushrooms lol)

I brought my mom to celebrate a big birthday, and we both had a wonderful time at Tersiguel's. I had a minor dietary request, and called ahead a few days early and spoke directly with Chef and he was able to accommodate. The restaurant maintains it's classy but comfy feel, and the limited amount of other diners really made dinner feel intimate and special. We were both a little nervous about not knowing the Chef's menu ahead of time, but I must say it really worked out well. We started with a loose polenta soup that at first seemed slightly under salted, until you got a bite of the shiitakes or 'brussel sprout croutons' which provided a huge burst of salty umami deliciousness that made you realize that the soup was exactly as salty as it should be.The rest of the courses were similarly refined, showcasing Chef Michel's creativity and skill. A highlight was the venison course - one which admittedly is not a protein I generally gravitate towards. But it was tender, flavorful, and served over a delicious tomato ver jus sauce, with charred cabbage and pickled radish. This was what I loved most about this experience. Venison with charred cabbage is not a dish I would order off a menu (I'd probably end up getting a steak or something safe), but it was one of the best bites of the night and my mom was still raving about it days later. Finally, the timing of the courses was spot on, wine pairings were great and always poured right before the next course, and we never lacked a slice of crusty bread and fresh butter. Thanks for a special night!

We had an absolutely incredible dinner at Tersiguel's. Each dish was delicious. The ambience was beautiful, perfect for a special occasion dinner. Dishes featured in our dinner include smoked salmon, monk fish, veal, and venison. Tersiguel's only seats 20 guests per seating, so the service is intimate and excellent. Charlie, the head waiter, is a gem of a human being. We had such a nice conversation before our meal, and he explained the context of the house Tersiguel's is in as well as each component of our meal throughout the night. We will definitely return soon and cannot recommend Tersiguel's enough.

To celebrate my Anniversary, I was expecting a French meal abounding with the harvest from a plentiful summer!Instead we were served a 6 course meal (3 were fish/lamb/beef) that would be enjoyed in the middle of winter. Dessert was chocolate mousse plopped on a large white plate. While the French bread and coffee was excellent, fresh fruits and veggies were AOL.I do NOT recommend this restaurant!

This was a great experience. There were (4) couples of (2) in our seating at 715pm. Our meal featured shrimp, rockfish, lamb, beef, vegetable soup, and lemon curd dessert. Lamb was unbelievably good! They offer a $40 wine pairing as well in addition to the meal cost and other cocktails for $10-$12. We had (1) cocktail and (1) wine pairing and shared both and thought it was plenty.

The presentation is great the food is good. However, the portions are small. Do not go if your appetite is big. You will leave practically famished.
