Really, really nice staff, slow as ever, but really nice. Stopped in on a Thursday evening, 6:20 to be exact. Happy hour is over at 7. I ordered a run and Coke immediately upon sitting. My friend ordered something fruity.About 30 minutes later, with 10 minutes to spare for happy hour. I ordered another rum and coke and my entree. I went with the fried fish catfish platter with yams /pineapples baked in it and sautéed veggies. The sautéed veggies that night was cabbage and peppers.My friend ordered the baked catfish platter with collard greens and sweet potato fries. Everything came out about 30 minutes after we ordered. My friend's fish platter was fried instead of baked, the sweet potatoes fries were the last in bunch, dried out and old. The greens were indeed Glory Greens. If you know you know! My sautéed veggies were delicious, so were the yams, the fish was refried. So greasy and so salty it was practically inedible. Absolutely loved the yams but that wouldn't be enough for. Second visit. Nice ambiance, kind employees but a sad dinner.

I like this chill bar/cafe! I was invited by a friend who was playing here. I had heard of this place. Glad I finally visited. It certainly won't be my last. Everyone was super frirendly and made me feel welcomed. The backyard space is nice. They have heating lamps so can still enjoy the space even in the cooler seasons. I didn't eat anything here as I wasn't hungry but the drinks I had were good. The bartenders know their drinks.Parking was easy - found a spot right in front. I'll be back soon : )

You have to really like straight-on jazz, bossa and bebop, and modest food and pricey drinks to hang out every 4th Sunday from 5-8 p.m. However, the helpful servers and friendly diners who are also musicians, vocalists and the friends who support them make this a hopping place to be. Give it a try, no lie!

I've been to Terra Cafe 2x now, out in the huge back patio area. It's an amazing space, a hidden gem in Charles Village. Definitely enjoy spending time out there.The first time I visited, I didn't eat. However this second time, I placed an order for fish nuggets and fries. It took maybe 10-15 minutes for my food to come out and when it did, it was pretty no frills. My main issue was a complete and utter lack of condiments. I need hot sauce with my fish, and I don't carry it around in my purse regardless of what Beyoncé commands us to do. Vinegar would have been a nice option also. Plus it's pretty standard at a minimum to provide ketchup to go with fries. There was none of this.The good news is the fish and fries were well seasoned and were pretty tasty despite a lack of hot sauce. I guess in the future I'll have to bring my own little condiments bag.

Love the atmosphere and food I'm looking forward to the the warmer weather so I can enjoy the outdoors dining

This post is long, but I will delete it after a few days, So 4 dudes can stand on the corner of a major intersection like 25th & St. Paul and hurl a series of bricks through a 70'x70' plate glass window of a black business and the overhead city surveillance drone didn't detect a thing? Well, they need to get more of them or send that one back to Amazon or wherever they got it. Or could it be that because it was a black-owned business it's just not on their list of priorities? cuz You can believe that had this been fed Hill, Canton, or Upper Charles Village they would have signaled the calvery and within 30 seconds every Black person within 5 miles would have been stopped and questioned. The owner of this business is one of the nicest cats you've ever want to meet and it seems to me there should be a way for us to pull together some dough and gift this guy some of those pull-down metal gates or perhaps hire the security guard from Safeway to patrol this area a few hours a night, and the reason I'm suggesting him is because he is extremely well-liked, he knows everybody and everybody knows him, check out how he gets ppl to move outta that fire lane, his technique is masterful, so maybe his presence would make a difference. I don't know what the answer is, but I do know that we can't afford to lose this business, especially since Busboys & Poets got ran't out of Charles Village, and you can be sure that the next business that goes there such as a Poke bowl or something with the word "Wok" in it will be given the benefit of armored plated vehicles stationed curbside, military-style aircraft-cover overhead, and 3 or 4 different brands of security agencies surrounding the perimeter and there will be lines around the block of people waiting to get in and all of it will be celebrated as the way minorities should behave. Well, what they don't understand on this 60th anniversary of the march on Washington and the murder of Emmitt Till, is that if it were not for the so-called misbehavior of Dr.King and John Lewis and so many others willing to walk smackdab into BillyClubs, firehoses, and German Shepherds then these tik-tok places would not exist because nothing would have ever changed. So let's do what we can to help this Brother, if they want to put a jar on the counter and label it security fund or something like that then I'm all in with a recurring donation until whatever goal they set is achieved. Otherwise, all of the other groups will continue to build their version of the American Dream off the backs of our American nightmare!

I came here for a happy hr. Their pricing is awesome btw. Standard beer, wine and rail drinks during happy hr. Not many food specials as I can remember. They did have other drinks. During my visit I did have the Man-Tini. A bourbon based drink. Yummy. Also during this visit, I had the fish tacos. No tilapia here. They use swai. Crispy batter. And the fish was tasty. Very nice portion size for 7.95. I also had the opportunity to try the collard greens and crab balls. All equally good. I'll come back for another visit.

Coming here since I moved to Bmore in '18. It's been a minute cause I moved further out. The menu is a little smaller now, but the TASTE is not. The curried chicken I got with yams with bussin bussin. I just wrapped up and trying to figure out if I want to do a to go order. Or just stay and enjoy the music. Definitely getting another drink. If you are looking for a quiet spot to eat, don't go to the bar area. Had a book but the music is super loud and songs I like. End up singing and remembering ole times. (90s throwbacks) [worth mentioning, I am not a local. Each visit was 30 drive when I first moved here. Now it's an hour drive. I am from Boston originally, we don't play about food or atmosphere. IFYKYK.]

Doesn't look like much when you walk past, but I was practically dying fro hunger so I stopped in. A friend of mine said "aye, these are the best fish sandwiches that you will ever eat." I was like nah fa real: went in and let me tell you..... #BANGING!! Like fa real fa real every time I go back to B'more this is a must stop destination on the list. Most people hit the waterside but this spot right on the corner is excellent!!The fish and chips are awesome and the price is just right!
