Ten Oaks Tavern

Coming here for the apps is just as good as their other dishes. The Ten Oak Taters is where it's at. Chopped potatoes, bacon, cheese and ranch dressing. Share it with at least two. Their crab dip is also legit. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is quaint. Worth the drive to this little gem!

Excellent service from Garrett, who brought me some BBQ sauce to taste to make sure I had ordered something I would like. Lemon Blueberry cake was already sold out---you have to get here early for the fabulous desserts!Tuesday special is half rack of ribs with two sides. I tried house made chips and cole slaw. Very filling meal for $13!Very accessible for people with mobility issues. Easy parking. Music not too loud and included The Clash and Eric Clapton during my stay. This place exceeded all my expectations. Will return on a Thursday for prime rib special.

Stopped in for lunch on a day trip to MD. Our server was great. Food took way longer than it should have and our burgers and fries were overcooked. Not the worst meal we've ever had but not great. Men's room was gross.

Nice cozy bar grill that has a neighborhood bar feel. Friendly servers and laid back bar area. Good food and comes out pretty fast.

Came here for lunch. Neighborhood, hole-in-the-wall bar vibe. Decent prices. Beef quesadilla - good flavor but drenched in cheese and fat. I'm used to quesadillas being a bit neater and, well, less smothered in cheese and grease. White cake w/ champagne cream - good cake but probably wont repeat. I was guilt-ridden eating this and the quesadilla- just uber unhealthy. This slice was HUGE. Margarita - really good.Drink prices here are amazing- $8 for premium liquor - cant beat that!Bartender was friendly and attentive

I've always passed by and finally decided to come in. Thought it was a lot larger what it actually is inside but it's quaint and homey. But nothing homey about the lack of heat. Feel bad for the employees who are in hats and gloves. Not sure why they don't have heat in January after a snow storm. And the staff is all female which is interesting. Everyone was friendly but gossipy about the other employees which is fun entertainment for bar guests. Though it was cold my tavern club was delicious and their fries are well salted and thin like I like!The turkey was meaty and sexy with the perfect amount of Mayo! The lack of a happy hour alone made me drop them one star. I mean come on!

Thanks Tc and Steph, Ten Oaks was popping but we had friendly efficient service and fun with TC. We also enjoyed the food and service!

Restaurant side: Service was poor. Food was average. Dark and not very welcoming. Nothing really bad, but I won't be going back.
