This is a quaint bar beneath the admiral fells inn. The bartender is the best in Baltimore and can make you any drink you desire. Their homemade ginger beer goes great for their Moscow mule (although I'd suggest getting it only if you LOVE ginger). Their two punches are delicious as well. See pictures for more but stop by. There's great music, service, and drinks.

Excellent service, spectacular drinks. I recently moved to the DMV area, and my mom and I stayed at the hotel. The black eyed Susan is not only ironically named, it's a delicious unique drink. Will definitely come again when my family visits me.

Came here on 5/5/18 after a 40th bday at Mustang Alley's. Great ambiance, but it's definitely small and doesn't have a lot of seating. I got an orange crush and honestly all I could taste was vodka lol. Not very smooth. But the place is pretty cool and in the heart of Fells.

Boy do I love this place. Hidden in the basement of the historical and haunted Admiral Fell Inn, the hotel tavern shouldn't be missed.Atmosphere: No doubt one of a kind. The bar is frequently visited by the local ghost tour. The basement dining area a few rooms away used to be an infirmary/morgue during the civil war. Back to the bar. It's tiny, but the main words that come to mind are dank and musty. Decorations are outdated. Lighting is dim. A fluorescent glow lurches out from behind the bar. Drinks and Service: Only one bartender has been there during my visits and he is a class act. A friendly guy with a creepy tinge, slinging drinks like a champ. They always have a house punch available. Get it. Big fan of Moscow mules here too. Nothing knock your socks off great, but everything is just right. Fells point creepy tip: Head to the side street behind Thames St. (think it's Shakespeare St.) to see the old Fell family crypt. I dare you to read The Shining, stay at the Inn, and wander into the bar late at night. Queue "In The Mood" by Glenn Miller and Have a ball Jackieee!

My Uber driver told me this is a great spot to end the night. I went down the stairs and was not super impressed -- the bartender didn't even acknowledge my presence for a few minutes and then only had basic beers available. I left without ordering anything.

My favorite Maryland bar. Say HI to Steve!! (10/10 bartender) He makes a fine whiskey sour and I can vouch for his hot buttered rum. Great atmosphere. I love to stop when I'm in Fells. It feels like a great hidden secret... though... is any bar in Fells a secret?

If you're looking for a small classy bar with excellent service, this is your place. The bartender/owner is very nice and attentive. The drinks are incredible. Also caught a sea-shanty jam session which happens Wednesdays. When I'm in town I'll make sure to stop by here again.

Speakeasy feel with bomb drinks and the most underrated bartender in town. Steve rocks.

Easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Our room had no closet or any place to hang clothes. There was no mini fridge. No clock radio. The floor was coming up. The furniture was stained. We had to run the shower for 10 minutes to get hot water. Outside our room there were mirrors leaning against the wall. The pub was closed and looked like there had been a riot there. The windows were filthy. There was supposed to be vending and ice on the second floor. The second floor was torn apart for renovations and there was ice but no vending.
